I recently visited this spot and had an absolutely wonderful experience from the moment I walked through the doors. If you're looking for fantastic Asian cuisine, this place definitely needs to be on your radar.
First off, the service is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The staff made us feel right at home immediately, and one of my favorite highlights was the complimentary hot tea they provided right as we sat down. It’s such a comforting, traditional touch that really sets a relaxing tone for a great meal.
As for the menu, the food was simply great. Everything we ordered came out piping hot, beautifully plated, and packed with incredible flavor. You can tell they really care about the quality of their ingredients and the authenticity of their dishes. The meal completely exceeded my expectations.
One quick heads-up for anyone planning to visit specifically for the market: the attached grocery portion of the business is currently shut down. It didn't negatively impact our dining experience at all, but it’s definitely good to know if you were planning to pick up some ingredients after your meal.
Overall, between the top-notch food, the stellar and attentive service, and the cozy atmosphere, it was a fantastic visit. I will absolutely be coming back again soon to explore more of the menu. Highly recommend!

As a Chinese, I enjoyed the wonton soup here. Might be back for other dishes. The staff is super nice. The dining room is like typical deli style. There are mini Chinese markets by the kitchen area.

This place... is so... GOOD. I can eat 30 pork wontons by myself. The worst thing about this place is I don't want to share with the rest of my family (it's Pentagon City prices but the only place around here that's actually worth the money).
It's a little hole in the wall with small area for seating. Also has some imported asain grocery items.

Great option for lunch if you’re at the office! We got the braised pork over rice ($15~) & the pork burger (~$8).

Small business dedicated to serve the local community, providing convenience to the foreign students who miss the taste of home. Excellent service with reasonable price (which is very rare in food service industry now). I cannot recommend them more and I encourage people to support them.

Best Asian style meat and rice we’ve had for a long while. Definitely a must try especially if you need a quick lunch/dinner!

I ordered the beef bowl and it absolutely hit the spot. The beef was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The rice was fluffy and soaked up all the delicious sauce. Portion size was generous and the food was hot and fresh. Definitely one of the best comfort meals I’ve had in a while — I’ll be coming back for more!

They don’t do sandwiches anymore. Got the Japanese beef and onions. It wasn’t that great, unfortunately.

Authentic Chinese food for take out! They also have a selection of imported snacks (the good ones). Great lunch and snack option! Small amount of tables and chairs but never too packed.

This place is a mix of a restaurant and a shop, which gives it a unique vibe. We decided to eat in, and my friend really enjoyed his pork sandwich. I had the coconut curry, but unfortunately, it was cold in the middle, which made me suspect it was reheated.
Another downside was the pricing—what I was charged didn’t match the menu prices, and I ended up paying more, which was disappointing.
That said, the staff seemed friendly, and the atmosphere was cool. There’s definitely potential here, but a bit more attention to food preparation and pricing would make it a much better experience.
