Legit, scrumptious, and luxurious pastries!
Definitely coming back for more!

Very disappointed in the croissants this morning. This was our FAVORITE pastry shop before the new owners changed it up. Not to mention no more coffee at a bakery . There is also a price increase, for which I would have gladly paid for the original croissants we used to get at Randolph’s . I sincerely hope the new owners can change things back to the way they were. I agree with another person who left a review saying that the quality was more comparable to Giant/Safeway.

I bought a simple cake with a message, but they completely messed it up! Instead of writing the message on the cake, they put it on a thin sugar biscuit thats hard like a rock and that’s not even edible. Wasn’t the message supposed to be on the cake itself? What am I to do with a thin sheet of sugar? Now I have a cake on a special day with no message.

This used to be my favorite bakery in the neighborhood! Sadly, new owners is not maintaining the same quality/ingredients as previous pastries by Randolph owner. I have to agree with some other reviews that this place has gone done in quality - taste like if i bought a pastry from Giant/Safeway. For example, you can tell a huge difference between eclair filling and other pastries. I sincerely hope they can get the message and return some of the previous quality that we all have enjoyed over the years.
Randolphs has been my favorite bakery for years. The recent changes, sub contracting baking of breads, croissants, etc.,have forced me to go elsewhere. They no longer have the cakes, pastries and breads that made them the best of the best. In addition, the once classic store is crowded with displays of cocoa mix and other items that have nothing to do with the shop’s bakery offerings. I will still go in occasionally for challah, but that is it. They should take down the awning describing the shop as a Patisserie. It’s a bakery but not a patisserie.
Parking: There isn’t more to say. It’s free if you can get it

Also sharing this place has gone down in quality. Believe they are removing/swapping out products. Seconding what others note—service is still spectacular but not sure what the owners are thinking.

Exceptional treats paired with exceptional customer service; staff are friendly and super helpful, and the baked goods are top-notch. I honestly started to think reasonably priced, high quality pastries were a thing of the past, but not at Pastries by Randolph!

The marble mousse cake was the most amazing cake I’ve ever had in my life. We also had a cheesecake that was very good. The cupcake was good but not great. Overall the place is great and we will be coming back.

Everything that I have bought from Randolph's has been delicious.
Best quiches and individual pastries! They have been making white chocolate mousse cake for a very long time. It is the best in the DC area.

We love their white chocolate cake, I tried placing in person order but the lady said I need to do it online. I went there 5 days before. Then I do it online but the pick up date will the 2 days after the event. I called their store but this guy who I spoke to did not give me a chance to ask. Not friendly at all. Very disappointing. 👎👎👎

Cake was ordered for a gender reveal and seems like something went wrong. A bit more care for important events would be appreciated.
Food us excellent. Employees are not pleasant and some are rude. Too many of employees and most are sitting idle until you call them but the cakes and sweets are the best in town. I personally tolerate them for the goods but the owner should do a better job hiring different caliber

This bakery is absolutely the best. Love everything they have. Fresh baguettes, delicious cakes and cookies.
The baked goods are excellent but the service is quite poor. Extremely slow, 7 people behind the counter serving 3 customers and it takes 15 minutes to get a single box of one type of cookie. This is consistent, every single time, not the place to go if you’re in a rush.
