BABY! This spot has some of the best sandwiches me and my boyfriend have had in a while. The young man at the register helped me pick my sandwich (the veggie pita) and it did not disappoint. Happy to have found this hidden gem in Crystal City.

The name is truly befitting. I stopped in for lunch and had the Club Pita. It was fantastic! Definitely the perfect pita! All fresh ingredients and excellent flavor. Loved it. I also had the Black Bean and Cilantro Hummus which was equally good. I highly recommend. Finally, the gentleman at the counter was friendly and patient. This location was clean and well maintained. A great spot for a quick bite.

While the Shops at Crystal City are not what they once were, this gem of a restaurant does a wonderful business. The reason is simple: great food at reasonable prices. Their salads are always fresh, their hummus delicious and their pita bread a true taste of the Mediterranean. The owner/operator is very pleasant with a keen sense of what customer satisfaction means. I am fortunate to be working in the building above and frequent this establshment.
The man who works the register is so nice and polite. The woman who makes the food is fast and consistent. I love going to Perfect Pita In Crystal City!

My review would be higher if I had ordered a gyro as intended. However, I saw that the Friday special was a two topping 9" pizza. The toppings were good, but the sauce was not fully applied across the crust. The cheese had a strange look and taste not like other mozzarella cheese I've had before. My order was prepared quickly, primarily because they use pre-proofed pizza crusts. I know this because I worked at a pizza place while at university that did the same thing. The crust is very bland and dry. If they used fresh dough and a better cheese, they would definitely earn 5 stars. Also, I am in town for 3 days so I plan to go back and try their gyro. I'll update my review accordingly.
