I got the Philtered Soul with oat milk and it was delicious and quick. The staff was super friendly and helpful with my questions. Great place to sit down and get some work done, chat with a friend, or relax with a good cup of coffee.

Coffee is pretty good, I'd come back for that. Unfortunately, our food was bad. It was clearly microwaved, the sausage muffin more than once, and the burrito was cold in spots. It's too bad, especially for almost $7 a sandwich.

Heres the thing: I'm basing my stars on the fact that the next coffee I get from them is a coffee I'll like but the coffee I did get on my one visit here just didnt live up to the hype. I'm a coffee fan. I'm a mojito fan. I asked my friend, who is so loyal to Philz she even had it delivered to her on her wedding day, for a suggestion and she mentioned that I have to try the iced mint mojito. I did sub the regular milk with oat milk . But I dont know.. I just didnt like it. Maybe because it was too much mint? I dont know. It just wasnt my cup of coffee...hehe. I have high hopes for the next time I stop by. I plan on sticking to what I like (iced vanilla latte with light ice and oat milk)

Philz specializes in drip coffee but they are happy to make recommendations for those who love a latte which is what I requested today. The staff is friendly and approachable. The atmosphere oozes “safe space” for all and could easily accommodate office meetings or social gatherings. There’s plenty of room for outdoor and indoor seating. It’s nestled inside Arlington’s Ballston neighborhood. There’s construction in neighboring buildings right now so it’s not quite the gentle buzz of a moving suburb but quite literally a buzzsaw, hammering and drilling construction site. Definitely recommend this great little place for a quick run in for a coffee or to stay a while and grab one of their great croissants.

Great coffee and this location is the most convenient for me! Through social media I discovered a new "secret menu" or "off menu" drink called oatmeal cookie. It's half Julie's ultimate, half hazelnut and then cinnamon in the filter. So delicious! It's sweet which I love and has the best flavor. I usually get an iced medium, sweet and creamy.You can even order this drink through their mobile ordering on the app by selecting Julie's ultimate and then in the "special instructions" section add "half hazelnut with cinnamon in the filter to make an oatmeal cookie drink." Comes out the same as if I ordered in store.Employees are really friendly and don't rush to make drinks that end up tasting bad. Everything is great and I love stopping here in the morning!

I love coffee and I love me some Philz... I was traveling and it was extra nice to have a little taste from home. I only had to walk a short distance from my hotel and it was nice to start my work day with my favorite coffee. The inside has plenty of seating to spend a little down time with your breakfast burrito and the people working were super nice. I have made it here twice and it will be part of my Arlington routine.

First-Time Here! I must say I was totally impressed. Great Customer Service!! The Mint Mojito coffee was WOWWW. The Bacon Maple Sandwich was very good too. I will definitely be back.
This location is great. I was living in the neighborhood during the early pandemic days - would come and get distanced takeout and there was this very nice barista, so sweet, positive and really sets the tone for a nice, chill morning!! I moved away for a couple years and just recently moved back and revisited this location - she’s still there, still just as awesome. I recommend this Philz!

My favorite drink from this place is the tantalizing Turkish. I love the mint that is added to the drink. But recently whenever I order it, the baristas just don't add it to the drink. Today I asked for it after I noticed it was not there and he added the tiniest piece of mint in to the drink. I don't know what's going on, but the quality of the drink definitely went down recently. I have attached the picture of the tiny mint.

I love Philz coffee! Got the mint mojito (my favorite drink ever) and am sooo sooo satisfied! Honestly, what an amazing creation. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Very friendly staff. And very clean restrooms! I'm coming back everyday!!!

OMG I was beyond pleasantly surprised to visit and taste the iced coffee at Philz. This hidden gem in Ballston/Arlington, VA. The vibe was comfortable and welcoming. I wasn't sure what to order but the barista was super help and kind. She recommended an Iced Mint Mojito with vanilla soy milk. It was amazing! #YouHaveToTryThisPlace #TrustTheProcess
