My boyfriend and I came here for Valentine’s Day to celebrate our anniversary and ordered the $89 menu. Overall, we had a really nice experience. The wagyu and oysters were amazing, and the drinks were so good. The desserts were honestly some of the best I’ve had at any KBBQ spot, which really stood out to me.

We had about two or three different servers helping us, but the Asian woman who mainly took care of our table was especially great. She was super kind, attentive, and made sure we got everything we needed. She really helped make the night feel special.

The only downside was that the food took a while to come out between courses. At one point it seemed like one of our dishes might have been taken to the wrong table or forgotten. It did not seem like it was her fault though as it was a different server who took the order.

I dined here this week and it was one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve had. The staff struck the perfect balance—attentive without being overbearing—and the owner, Scott, was incredibly knowledgeable, especially when explaining the different styles of sake. The restaurant has an intimate, cozy atmosphere, and for a buffet featuring premium wagyu along with a variety of meats and sides, it was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it to anyone in the Crystal City area looking for a delicious meal and a welcoming environment. Many thanks to Scott and the team—you were fantastic!

Great place! It is so rare to run into a place like this with top quality meat and excellent service in one place. The staff here are super friendly and very nice to the kids. Would highly recommend this place to meat lovers!

Horrible service and unprofessional staff. Staff didn’t seem to have received professional training in serving and communications with customers. When they changed the grill, the server came with a tray with a new grill on it. When he switched, he put the old hot one on the top of the new one, then pulled out the new one from the bottom. He almost went off balance and had the hot grill on me! I even yelled because how scary it looked like. Not only did the server not apologize, but he laughed and said I was too scared. He showed no professionalism.

There were many other things that made the dining experience so bad as well. The service was slow and our first server basically disappeared after we ordered and didn’t grill for us after the food was brought to us. Many desserts being out of stock early in the evening when we were literally one of the only tables there. They make the meats presentation so pretty, but the meat quality overall was not great considering we paid $58 per person. Half of the meats were impossible to chew because there were lots of tendons.

I have been wanting to leave this review but I was seeing only 5 star reviews and they were sticking for a big while. I then realized they pay to remove any bad reviews. When I saw the “Suspicious high-rated reviews were recently removed” flag, I got some comfort. This is not a business running upon honesty and integrity. Please stay away, save your money and go elsewhere.

Beautiful restaurant with great staff and energetic atmosphere! No wait time for seating. The food came very quickly and tasted delicious! Our server in particular was very friendly and took his time to go over the menu options and how their AYCE works (no limits on orders per round!!). Would definitely come back again, worth the money!

Advertised as a 90-minute all-you-can-eat, but the experience felt heavily restricted.

Food arrived extremely slowly, and servers repeatedly limited how much meat we were “allowed” to order, claiming the table “couldn’t hold more.” Portions often did not match what we ordered.

It was noticeable that larger groups nearby were served faster and with fewer restrictions, while our table was constantly told to slow down.

At last call, we were told we still had 5 minutes to order meat, but after ordering, another server said we ordered “too much,” canceled our last call, and warned we would be charged for remaining food—even though nothing was left on our table and everyone was still hungry.

We were a party of six and were charged automatic gratuity, yet service was slow, inconsistent, and rules changed mid-meal.
The owner even said that if customers eat this much, the restaurant can’t make money.

If that’s the case, don’t offer AYCE. Very disappointing, especially compared to my previous visit. 玩不起就别玩

Update after management response:

We have reviewed the restaurant’s reply, and unfortunately it does not address the core issues raised in our original review.

The problem was not the length of time we stayed, but the pace and consistency of service. A longer dining time does not equal good AYCE experience if orders arrive extremely slowly, portions are restricted mid-meal, and items promised during last call are never served.

While the restaurant lists the number of items ordered, we were provided with a copy of the order record and confirmed that at least one item was never delivered. More importantly, our table was completely cleared at the end, yet every guest left hungry, which speaks for itself.

Additionally, the response does not address why a mandatory auto gratuity was applied to a table that experienced delayed service, unmet last-call orders, and repeated restrictions.

We respect that businesses keep internal records, but customer experience is defined by what actually arrives at the table—not what appears in a system log. Our review reflects our real experience, and we stand by it.

They offer too much food, provide generous portions, and too many options!

Recently went here for dinner along with three other friends. Very welcoming atmosphere and great service. Honestly best meat quality anywhere near this area. We did the $69 menu and had an assortment of different items. I love their sauce and desserts. Overall the experience was very exquisite. Will be coming back often!

This is the best BBQ place I’ve had since moving to DC. The meat is unbelievably tender — honestly some of the most tender I’ve ever tasted. The portions are huge, the service is super quick, and one of the owners is incredibly nice and friendly. Great food, great people, great experience. Highly recommend!

This place is beautiful. Michelin-guide energy. The plating alone deserves a standing ovation—luxurious, intentional, and so aesthetically pleasing it almost distracts you from eating. Almost.

Where it slightly stumbles is flavor consistency. The kimchi was good, but it didn’t have that unmistakable authentic Korean kimchi punch. Instead, it leaned more toward a Chinese-fusion profile, which I didn’t mind on its own—but that flavor carried straight into the kimchi fried rice. Unfortunately, the fried rice came out a little cold and tasted oddly sweet, too salty, and mildly burnt all at once. Not terrible, just… confusing.

Now, the main attraction: the meats. They’re good—fresh, nicely cut, and clearly quality—but not quite as mind-blowing as the décor and hype suggest. The visuals promise fireworks; the flavor delivers sparklers. Maybe I ordered the lowest tier, maybe my expectations were too high, but it didn’t fully live up to the luxury label.

Service was excellent, and most of the other dishes were great. Dessert sealed things off with two mochi ice creams—one soft and fresh, the other noticeably hard, which I’m assuming means not so fresh. Nitpicky? Sure. But at this level, details matter.

Final verdict: 4 stars. I’m being extra picky because this place advertises itself as luxury KBBQ. It’s polished, fresh, and beautiful—just missing that final flavor punch to earn a full five.

I found a piece of hair in my food and gave it to one of the servers. He went to the back corner to talk with the people sitting there and came back to apologize but never compensated me. I should have taken a picture of the hair as proof because they all pretended that it never happened afterwards. They also got my order wrong so many times and provided terrible service. When I went there to eat, the ratings were all 5 stars on Google Maps. Right after leaving this place with a horrible experience, I tried to post this review but Google Maps didn’t let me post it due to this place having too many suspiciously high reviews 💀

High quality food, great customer service, and nice atmosphere! We were backed up by the price at first cuz it’s a bit pricey than most bbq buffet. However, their food quality is way better than most of the bbq place I’ve ever been. My husband who is from Los Angeles even said it would cost much more if this restaurant is in LA! The salmon salad and tuna salad tastes so good that no one should skip them. My husband high recommend the original beef brisket and garlic beef brisket. My son loves the mochi ice cream and shaved ice. Me? I just love everything they’ve served! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who is hungry.
