Although the area and restaurant feel welcoming the pizza is out right disgusting, not a single one of my margarita pizza slices cheese stayed on. As if a 2 year old made my pizza secondly my waiter repeatedly not once not twice but 3 times forgot to refill my drink. I expected a great time coming here but ended with only a frown on my face

I've been a patron of pie-tanza for about a dozen years. I can vouch for the deliciousness of any sandwich, salad, soup, pasta dish or pizza I've eaten here, and I've had quite a variety of menu items! Quite frankly, you can't go wrong with anything you chose here. The staff here is wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. The manager is also a very nice guy who acknowledges repeat customers, which I appreciate. I can highly recommend the Tuscan bean soup, the Quatro Carne pizza as well as the Primavera pizza, and that scrumptious herb chicken salad sandwich!
Special kudos to Penelope, who is a very fine server and a great ambassador to pie-tanza!

They don’t do delivery, which could have been taken as a warning… but I strongly suggest not getting pizza takeout here either: it simply does not travel.
Will update review after returning for a dine-in experience, because I felt like the pizza would probably be pretty good fresh out of the oven.

Equivalent to what I’ve had in Italy as far as the pizza. I enjoy the wood fired pizza, I’ve also had their lasagne, fried mozzarella, salads (yeah salad), carrot cake and other items. All very good, the staff is friendly, food is quick, honestly I’ve never eaten in the restaurant, usually order for pickup, sort of torn that they don’t have delivery, as it would make it too easy to order there all the time.
We moved into Arlington about 11 years ago, had Pie-Tanza when we moved in and it’s been our pizza of choice since then. Sometimes I do feel the need to get the pizza of my youth, always disappointed and will get pie-tanza soon after to redeem my faith in pizza.

Excellent food here! Really fresh and authentic tasting. We got the garlic bread and the margarita pizza and it was excellent. We finished things off with carrot cake which was also really great. Everyone that interacted with us was very friendly and professional. Service was very quick but not rushed. If I were local I would definitely eat here again.
