Great selection of wines at a fair price. the menu always has something fun or takes classics and does a twist. writing a review to really highlight the service, from the host to a nice (not overwhelming) visit from the manager. I would have rated this 8/10, still great, but extra points to Gail who gave excellent service and wine recommendations when my guest and I couldn't agree on a bottle she had a blast catering to our needs and making the visit memorable

The only negative I have is that this would be my Sunday spot if they were opened!

Pirouette is a gem of Arlington. The wines are magnificent (and wonderfully curated), the service is outstanding, and the food is fantastic (be sure to get the pasta small plate--it's prepared using in-house made pasta and is always delicious).

Extremely rude management. Pointed in my friends FACE for accidentally booking two separate reservations and definitely will not go back. Place was empty.

I’ve been here three times now and the first time I went was great. The food was great, the wine was a great deal and the service was good. The second time the man who is the owner was quite snobby to us. We asked for a different table and were told no with a straight face. The third time he was again and the cauliflower steak tasted like a boring hunk of cauliflower. We were just asking simple questions and his attitude just wasn’t friendly at all. How can you open a local restaurant and act like a snob towards guests? I won’t go back.

We recently tried Pirouette for the first time and were so glad we stopped in. They had a lovely selection of wines, and some unusual bottles that are harder to find. We picked up a bottle by one of our favorite young winemakers (Samuel Louis Smith), and chatted with Phillipe how much we loved the wine. Today we received a personal note from Phillipe inviting us to meet the winemaker next time he is in town. It was so busy the night we visited--I am incredibly touched he remembered our conversation, thought of us and took the time to write. It's these small details that really make a difference and we cannot wait to return.

PS: The food was great too. The kitchen does get busy during peak dinner hours, as expected, so do plan accordingly and don't take your hanger out on the poor waitstaff.

The homemade bread alone is enough to keep you there. Some of the best food I've had in a while and great wine selection. Atmosphere was great with live music. Highly recommend.

This place is perfect, right down to the soap in their bathrooms. They always have an amazing, affordable, diverse selection of wines. The food is also incredible. The staff is always friendly, never pretentious, and never fail to give a good suggestion. (Shout out to Gaile, they might be my favorite server of all time.) As a young person, this is an amazing place to get into wine. The owners, Jackie and Philippe, are fantastic and welcoming hosts. I am a bit of a regular and they are truly lovely people. It is a CRIME that its not the most popular spot in Arlington.

Can’t believe we didn’t try this place sooner. Getting a reservation was easy with the resy app. Showed up a little early and fortunately were able to be seated quickly.

All of the service was great, multiple people checking in on us throughout.

We did a pri fix and each time I thought the dish was excellent the next thing that came was even better!

One of did the wine pairing and it was excellent.

Will absolutely return soon!

The food and wine are great but the service is outstanding! The staff obviously take pride in and enjoy their work. They know the menu and wines like sommeliers. This is how every serious restaurant should be.

I am not even done eating here and have to praise this amazing place! Amazingly friendly staff all around, crazy attention to detail and perfect service! Carpacio was unique, but delicious, easier to eat than most traditional carpacios. Brisket was one of the most amazing entrees ever. Perfectly seasoned, tender, full of flavor with amazing sides also done perfectly. The barrolo by the glass was a 2019 and perfectly went with it. The budino looked so good, I ended up taking a bite before a picture. Absolutely amazing blend of delicious chocolate, peanut butter that is not overpowering, and olive oil to round out all the flavors. Honestly one of my best dining experiences of all time. Thank you to the entire staff!
