It’s good but the hours aren’t consistent! Just came into Rosslyn to go here, and despite the fact that it says “open weekends”, it’s Sunday at 12:30, and we totally closed. Unprofessional!

If you want a healthy lunch that will fill you up in a way that doesn't feel heavy, this spot is it. I recommend looking at the menu ahead of time so that you're prepared to know what you want down the line since there's so many great options. Fish tasted fresh and the portion is great. This allowed me to have a second meal actually, and I ordered the small. The staff was extremely friendly and the owner was great. The place is also clean so this is a huge plus. Will be returning for sure!

It is ok calamari. Waffle fries is too salty and soft. For 15 usd this is not a good choice.

Shrimp Tempura deserves a Michelin 3 star

I don't go here very often. I literally live right across the street, however with all the options in Rosslyn I typically opt for places like CAVA or chipotle. Well I went back for the first time in a while lately. The staff was kind and friendly. Ingredients were fresh. The man serving me was being extremely polite and even threw in an extra scoop of fish. I will continue to come here for a quality, healthy meal.

Rediculously saucy poke. You don’t taste the fish at all — just the thick, unappetizingly sweet, sauce. Doesn’t merit price.

Had this place in NYC all the time, loved it. Was so excited to try it here. Door, website, and Apple Maps all say the place closes at 8PM. Just now, at 7PM I was waived away because they were closed, lights off, and cashier counting the register. EXTREMELY unprofessional.

Prices advertised in the store and online don't jive. Owner tried to overcharge. When I asked why the discrepancy, he threatened me. Tried to suggest I was less of an American than he is.

We wandered into the Poke Bar on Veterans Day and were quite pleasantly surprised! The menu options are diverse, you can either build your own bowl or choose from a handful of pre-designed options. The poke was fresh and flavorful, and the portions quite large. Poke Bar is also, notably, very veterans friendly. On Veterans Day, my veteran husband got his small bowl for free! The manager offers discounts to vets year-round--just have your military ID handy. All in all, a great fast casual lunch scene addition to Rosslyn. Look forward to a return visit!

This place gets it. I've been eating poke for over 10 years, and this place is a cut above the crowd. Here's why: The Good -Fresh cut fish. Great cuts, too...they're not using the cheapest they can find. -Flavors of fish were on point and closer to authentic (lomo, etc.) than any other place in the region. Someone here cares and knows that they're doing. -Fresh cut vegetables...you can tell everything is "bright" fresh that day. No limp greens, etc. -Proper temperature of vegetables and toppings...this is huge and overlooked in poke/fast casual places. Proper temperature and cutting is the reason why the green onion "pops" and the cucumber tastes right. -Generous portions of everything. Fish, veggies, toppings, etc. -Good service. In the land of bland-faced/RBF DC/Arlington folks, the service here is quick and friendly enough. -Good rice. They keep in a rice cooker. It's not dry, old stuff like Chipotle/most Asian restaurants in the area. You'll notice the difference here. This is very good Poke. Supposedly the owner was a white house chef, which probably accounts for why Poke Bar offers quick, competent service and attention to detail. Medium bowl w/ 3 large scoops of fish was $15. With the vegetable toppings it was absolutely huge. I can eat quite a bit and I was stuffed after this. Great value. The Bad -None. Really, I'm silly impressed considering how average most places are in the Wilson Blvd. region. They'll be around for a while, I'm sure.

My favorite poke restaurant in DC! I appreciate Poke Bar in Rosslyn because the owners and employees(Denise and Michael) are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their fish. The conversations I've had with them make me trust the freshness of their fish and other ingredients and boy can you tell the difference! The combination of tasty, fresh ingredients and very reasonable prices make this a frequent go-to. Highly recommend

This Poke spot is the BEST in Arlington. All of the ingredients are fresh, the bowls are filling and all of the people working there are great. I've been helped by Michael many times and it is always a pleasant experience. He and his team make sure my order is exactly how I want it each and every time. I always recommend the Poke Bar to all of my friends and coworkers and they end up loving it too. Thank you guys so much for being my favorite lunch spot !!

Bottom line up front: I think this place has a lot of potential. And with a few small changes they could stand out. Poke Bar's been in business now for a few months, so I figured all the kinks should be worked out - and I think they mostly are. I had read several reviews talking about high prices and small portions, but I think things in that department were rather on point. I had the small size Firecracker (a signature bowl), and it was more than enough food. A good balance of the rice base to the protein and veggie toppings. So, that's a positive. Now, the sauce is another story. While tasty, they are REALLY heavy sauce drizzlers. And that can - and does - overwhelm a lot of the more delicate flavors of the dish. So be careful with that and be clear if you only want a little sauce. Or maybe they can do it on the side. I might ask for that next time. Two areas that I would submit could be improved upon are presentation and efficiency of service. In terms of presentation, everything goes in one bowl (think Chipotle) and is pretty mixed around by the time you dig in. So, if you want to eat things more individually, that's difficult. One of the things I loved about eating poke in Hawaii was that it was served in those pre-portioned off styrafoam boxes - so the fish was separate from the rice was separate from the seaweed salad... etc. This was great because it allowed you to mix things at your discretion and keep things separate. Now, that's a personal preference. I get that. But, still. It would be a nice option... In terms of efficiency, they need an extra hand on that line. The two people building the plates and running the till were working hard - no doubt about it. But during a lunch time rush, they could not keep up. I don't know how they would have managed an online order, because the in-person line was sizeable. There were about 5-6 people ahead of me and it took about 15 minutes to order and receive my food. That's pretty slow. One extra person in that small space, while making it cramped, would probably speed things up significantly. Maybe someone solely focused on the till. Just a thought.

Came here because it was the only place in Rosslyn that wasn't packed at lunch time. I should have saw that as a sign but I was in a rush. Upon entering, I heard the (what seemed to be) manager yelling at main server. Not a good look. He even saw me standing there and proceeded to yell at her for "a health code violation" - I think she was just cleaning the surfaces. Anyways, I still ordered and got the firecracker bowl. It is pretty big but there is way too much sauce... and it is very spicy which drowns out any of the flavors. The seaweed salad is good and the rice was good but the other components need work. I got a kombucha on the side and it ended up being $18 for a small bowl which is just astounding to me. Probably won't be back because I prefer places that don't yell at their employees.
