I usually LOVE this place and have been ordering the same breakfast here for months. Today, it was a horrible experience. What set me over the edge was opening my food and seeing this (after waiting 15 mins for it to be made and I was the ONLY other customer in there). Typically, great experiences here and hoping this was a one time occurrence.

Our favorite spot in Ballston! Food is honestly a hit and the staff is the kindest I know. Decor is beautiful (flower installation across the ceiling). Great florist / gift section available. Sundays are great for $3 mimosas and an easy-going brunch. Honestly, a plain bagel with cream cheese there is my favorite (they respect the shmear) but I will also jump for the The Reuben, The Capicola, and their baby-arugula salad. Generous portions and delightful fair.

From the coffee to the atmosphere, everything was a great experience. The food did not disappoint either. Nice selection of flowers as well. Awesome concept of having a coffee and flower shop all in one.

I had my baby shower here and have all great things to say. The staff were very responsive and easy to work with leading up to the event. The catering menu with lots of mix and match options worked out perfectly for our group of about 15 . And they were accommodating with a date change and didn’t need final details too far in advance. With the gorgeous decor, tasty food, great service, no rental fee for the space, and overall great flexibility, it seemed like a no brainer to host this event at Poppyseed Rye, and I’m so glad I did!

Food is delicious and healthy. General great concept with a flower shop inside. Great location for someone looking for good food. Having a chat with a friend. The space can get tight if too many people show up at once. Highly recommend using the inKind app. The staff were amazing!Kid-friendliness: What is a good place to take an infant.

The variety on the menu and the food are good but I sometimes feel like I am not getting the best service and they don't always want to hear suggestions (e.g., I don't need utensils - if I do, I will let you know). Today I ordered a bowl of chicken tortilla soup. When I got home to eat it, I noticed that it was a lot of chicken broth and some vegetables but no chicken.

Without question, the best Reuben Sandwich I have had. Perfect balance of ingredients. And the bread! Can’t add a photo, it didn’t last long enough.

We enjoyed this place. We had a sandwich and salad. Both were okay. Service was a little slow. Decor was nice. Florist was making huge mess on floor as we waited for our food. I would recommend this place.

I tried the tofu banh mi, and overall, the experience was decent. However, the tofu was a major letdown. It seemed uncooked and lacked any crispiness that would have elevated the dish. Additionally, my husband ordered the smoked salmon, but it resembled lox more than anything else. Lastly, my brother's salad was disappointingly dry and lacked flavor. As avid food enthusiasts from NYC, we had high expectations due to our extensive travels, which might have influenced our thoughts on the food.

Visited for the first time today and my sandwich was amazing! The staff was super friendly and the outdoor seating was lovely - will definitely be returning!
