Spent all day at VA Hospital and leaving my daughter to decide where to eat was a challenge because I’m in a motorized wheelchair. we pulled into the back of Portabellos to see if I could fit and the owner came out to say he would put me through the window if I couldn’t fit thru the door. (Kidding, I think). He was so hospitable and made us feel welcomed. Our dinner’s was perfectly made to our liking and was brought out very fast. (No food or water for me all day)On my way...
Love Portobellos! Omg - the lamb with rice and broccoli is amazing. And, MJ always provides warm yummy bread with the meal. Once you become a regular, he remembers your drink of choice and dietary restrictions. It’s quiet - no blaring TVs - so you can actually talk to the person you are with. I’ve never had a bad meal here. In fact, the food is wonderful!
MJ offered a Thanksgiving dinner that was the best I have eaten (I’m 75). The portions were generous. The turkey was moist and vegetables seasoned well and not overcooked. Congratulations on a job well done.
