Pupatella is such a charming spot for pizza. The crust is perfectly light and crispy, the toppings are fresh, and everything tastes authentic. The atmosphere is relaxed yet stylish, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place I’d return to again and again.

The DMV is somewhat of a pizza wasteland though Pupatella is one of its few oasis. Don’t go there expecting NY or Chicago style pizza. It is brick oven Neapolitan. Good sauce, great crust, and fresh toppings. Their meatballs are also worth the trip.

Ordered a margherita pizza and some meatballs for take out. It was super quick (makes sense since it’s Neapolitan style) and was delicious. Great chew on the dough and the sauce had a nice sweet hint. The meatballs were okay.
Decided to try this location to dine in. The food and service was great however the A/C seemed to not be working properly. Place felt like an oven. It was so hot our cokes got hot. Other than that all was great. Would probably recommend take out until the AC is repaired.

The place was very busy. We were seated outdoor around back. It was very nice atmosphere. It was like sitting in someone’s backyard and enjoyed an evening together.
We got some salad, pizza, and calzone. We also got some beer and white sangria. The calzone was very big. One order could feed two people. Garlic bread with cheese was also good appetizer. All good and drink were good. The service was great. We had a great time.
