The place is nice and attentive to details, I liked the way it was presented. The taste of their coffee is very special. I liked the balance between coffee and milk, as many baristas are ignorant of that. The empanada is also very tasty
Delicious lattes, food, and pastries & wonderful, warm, consistent service! I've never been been disappointed. Try the matcha, lavender latte, grilled cheese (aaaamazing) and/or monkey bread. The monkey bread tastes like a perfectly sweetened baklava ?(imagine baklava without the pistachios/nuts, and not sickeningly sweet with atar), which paired nicely today with an unsweetened jasmine/passionfruit light-iced tea. Perfection...on a gorgeous sunny patio. Plenty of sweeting inside to catch up on work too.I feel bad because on a couple of occasions I accidentally came in right at closing bc I still have my NYC habits/nocturnal leanings...but they were still so sweet and just told me me what they have left to sell. TBH, Don't know when they arrived in Arlington ....but I'm so very glad theyre here!
What a chill place to hang out with a cocktail or to do some work on your laptop from. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. The decor is modern and pleasing.
Very happy to have RAKO in the neighborhood. Super great staff, yummy offerings, good vibes.
Black salt vanilla latte! And the shop is so comfortable. Nice outdoor seating, too. Staff is top-notch.
Amazing coffee, lovely latte art and very kind and friendly staff! I ordered the baklava latte with oat milk and it was perfection! Love love love this place!! ❤️❤️
We had the volcanic and baklava latte. They were both wonderful. Customer service is always really good. We love this coffee shop!
The place is beautiful and the view is wonderful. I will repeat my experience again .
I've been ordering their coffee for a while now. The food and drinks at the cafe are phenomenal! My wife said they have the best latte she's ever had. They also make a really good old fashioned. Better than most bars.
What a wonderful place! The staff is SO friendly, the ambience is amazing and the coffee is delicious! I loved their baklava latte and star anise chai.I also really appreciate how environmentally conscious they are. They use metal straws for their iced drinks and their coffee beans are sustainably sourced. Definitely my favorite cafe in Arlington.

Perfect atmosphere for anything you need. Bring the girls, your dogs, or just sit and watch Real Housewives for hours. The espresso is dark, but the baristas are incredible.
Absolutely amazing coffee. The Volcanic Black Salt Vanilla Latte is a delicious drink. If you're a sweet & salty type of person, don't miss out on it!Avocado toast was some of the best I've had in a while, and the pour over was also a delicious roast.Small indoor seating area but very comfortable. Has power outlets available near most seats. Outdoor seating available for nicer weather days.Note: everyone loses a star for requiring a mask where one is not required by the city/state. Will revise my review once this silly restriction is lifted.
Great place to meet friends for coffee. The food was good and the tea selection was amazing. Very comfortable and they even have outdoor seating. They hosted our group from DCFempreneur and were very accommodating as the group kept growing. I can't wait to have another event there. In the meantime, I will be working my way through there extensive list of teas, coffee beverages, and food. There are so many wonderful things on the menu that you are sure to find something you ❤️.
Coffee enthusiasts rejoiced when Rako opened a cafe in the Courthouse area. For awhile, this woman-owned roastery out of Lorton, Virginia sold bags of beans online. Now we can enjoy a cuppa at their cafe. Here's why you should go:1) Coffee: It's complex yet smooth- quality coffee. They source mainly single origin beans from Ethiopia and Guatemala and offer a full coffee menu. Their black coffee is rich and latte creamy and balanced. My baklava latte was unique and very tasty (not overly sweet at all- balanced).2) Sustainability: Not only do they try to roast single origin beans, but they want to brew the coffee in environmentally responsible ways. That means they pay more for the right equipment, but it's more than coffee for them.3) Space: It's in the bottom floor of a high rise building, but the cafe is well designed and inviting. There's a bar inside and a beautiful outdoor patio to sip coffee or wine.If you love coffee, the earth and beautiful spaces, go to Rako!
I should say that I found my new favorite place. I’m in love with the interior design and the patio. The staff was so nice.I ordered Baklava latte and croissants. The coffee I though it would be sweet but it turned out good. Even the croissants was yummy.I’m definitely will come again to try the other options.
