They’ll serve you bloody raw chicken wings then when you bring it to their attention, they will tell you they’re sorry they’ve been having problems with this for a while. If I get sick from my experience there tonight, I am pursuing legal action.

Solid. While there’s limited parking by the restaurant, there’s a parking lot a block away so no issues. Waitress was very nice and attentive, and ensured she checked on us regularly. The atmosphere was not bad and I can see hanging with friends here. The food was good and certainly worth trying. I had the chicken and waffles, which was very good. My son the fried oysters, which he enjoyed. And my wife the wings, which she really liked.

So as an African American person, why the waiter sat us down by the wall that had portraits of a slave plantation. The next photo had 10 white cops in 1920 who definitely killed a few of us back then. ? I asked the waiter about it she act like she was shocked. 3 stars for now and then 5 stars when those portraits come down

Great setup with a nice indoor/outdoor combo design for fresh air! Staff are very friendly and helpful, I enjoyed the overall decor and vibe of the place. Happy hour deals are decent, the entree portion was a little small but not bad overall. They've got a delicious daily soup and weekly unique drink.

Whomever the gentlemen at the bar were (obviously regulars or owners) created a very awkward atmosphere with their “why are YOU here!?!?” glares. The bar winch basicly dropped my drink and engaged with everyone who DIDNT look like me. I had been forewarned by my concierge but didnt expect it so blatant. ??

Food was good, but service wasn't too great. It seemed like an inconvenience anytime we asked for anything. Maybe waitress was just having a bad night, idk? Be prepared. I didn't see any over enthusiastic servers, and ours sure wasn't. Provide great service, expect great tips! Other than that it will do if you're hungry.
