I ordered two pastries and a sandwich to go, one of the danish was a pumpkin. They put the danish in a bag, and when I go home the pumpkin danish was upside down and no tissues. See pictures.

A place that is very easy to overlook. While the expresso are good but nothing special, the bakery items are outstanding. Large selection of different flavors, both sweet or salty, and very high quality. Prices are fair.

This is by far my favorite coffee shop. First and foremost, the coffee is super yum, arguably the most important part of a coffee joint. Beyond that though, the staff are super friendly and personable and make ordering a pleasant experience. The pastries are incredible too, and are as close as I've found to an authentic French patisserie anywhere in the area.
The ambience inside the restaurant is lovely with plenty of seating areas and featuring local artists on the walls. The unique part of Roggenart though is it's vast outdoor seating options in a large and quiet courtyard, which no one else has anywhere else in ballston. Love it here!

Spacious inside, nice ambiance. Excellent pastry. Good chai latte. Friendly and fast service. I'll be back! P.S. The "crookie" is... an experience.

I walked in excited to show my family the cute new coffee shop, only to be met with a rude cashier and manager. Both had attitude & didn’t say “hello/how can I help you”, quite literally the bare minimum. Every response was stale & short. I doubt I’ll ever come back here again and won’t recommending to friends.

Roggenart is a hidden gem! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warm aroma of freshly baked pastries. The variety of European-style breads, croissants, and desserts is impressive, and each one I’ve tried has been delicious. The coffee is rich and flavorful, pairing perfectly with their baked goods. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring a great experience every time. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy .

Cozy coffee shop with a nice interior space and nice outdoor seating. The pastries, sandwiches, and breakfast sandwiches are great. The breakfast croissant came with a lot of nice fluffy egg. The latte was fine but not the best in the area.

Nice coffee shop vibe. The breakfast sandwich is served on a large croissant and the sausage was large enough to fill the sandwich to both ends. The scrambled egg was soft and creamy.
Eat in orders are delivered at your table via a number tent system. Large outdoor patio that is dog friendly.
By the order area, there is an wire rack with over stocked baked goods for 50% off

If you don't have a lot of time, maybe better to go elsewhere. Unclear where the line was, which resulted in a long wait and then the servers paying attention to people that came in well after me, despite having looked at me for some minutes before. I was too hungry to wait again that long so I left.

Starbucks, having taken out the self-serve milk, sugar, napkins, chairs, and really everything else that makes you want to spend $8 for a bad cup of coffee would literally have to stand on the Empire State building to kiss the rear end of this place.
The food and desserts are fresh (I had a bacon, egg, cheese croissant that was incredible).
The atmosphere: the chairs are extremely comfortable (cushioned), and there are lounge chairs if you choose to fall asleep after filling your belly. The lighting is moody and low key. Not bright and sterile like you're in a hospital.
The service was fast and friendly.
The place was relatively clean, despite the morning rush.
After going here, I'll never go to Starbucks again.

1st time here. The croissant breakfast sandwich is delicious. Does not skimp on the eggs and the croissant is flaky and perfect. This is right up there with Best Buns breakfast sandwiches which have been my favorite for years. Will definitely make this a regular spot for breakfast.
