The food is excellent, good value for quality. The servers were very polite and accurate with us and the ambient is great. One thing we did not like: Two of the three plates were battered and missing certain pieces around the edges, which makes the food and service presentation not great.

My friend and I both got the three course restaurant week menu for $25. What a deal we needed to go bags I had the salad brisket and peach cobbler. My friend had deviled eggs, brisket, butterscotch pudding, all excellent.  there's a reason this place is so popular and you need to make a reservation. Service ambience and food are all outstanding.

I started with an excellent cocktail (Old, new, and buzzing (boulevardier) & went to the Restaurant Week menu which was the regular a la carte menu selections, so a very good deal. My appetizer was 5 wood-grilled oysters, and scallops with two sides for the main course. The pan-seared scallops were fresh, but slightly overcooked & tough rather than tender. The Brussel sprouts side was fantastic. Another meal I used to like was Ruthie's Hearty Grain Salad---but why...
