i had the best experience here, its my second time & this time i dined in rather than the bar. i had the best and sweetest experience with my server, Ina. She gave the best service and had the best personality. 10/10!!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed my food, all the dishes were tasty and the presentation was lovely. Also had some great cocktails

The food here is great, and the Wagyu Sukiyaki is especially impressive. However, since it’s mainly an izakaya, we only came for lunch today, and it felt a bit light overall. I’m sure it would be perfect at night, though—ideal for drinks and late-night bites!

10/10 please go! If you don't your missing out on great food! My favorite thing we ordered was the fried squid, blue bay roll & the scallop yakatori. Service was excellent (Michael) was our server, he was super attentive and friendly. The whole place was a lovely atmosphere and clean. The food was fresh, came out fast & delicious! Will definitely be coming back!

The only good thing about this place was the fact we sat outside on a cool fall evening. The menu is a confusing mess hard to follow and you can't tell what's an entree and what's an appetizer. I ordered the udon noddles with pork and it literally had 3 very thinly slices of pork. Worse Japanese restaurant I've ever been in. NOT going back and you should not even think about giving it a try.

To start off.. I think this is one of the best restaurants to get sushi around Arlington. However, this review is regarding the service I received while I was there. I walked into place a to go order at 8:36 pm on 9/21/2024. When I got up to the hostess stand to place my order, she asked if I had a reservation. I said “no I want to place a to go order”. She then answered the phone with no apology to me or warning that she was picking up the phone (completely unprofessional). I waited for her to finish her phone conversation. She then hangs up and looks at me again and asks “do you have a reservation” … i had just told her a minute ago I wanted to place a to go order…? she took my Togo order and told me it would be 15 mins. I left and came back to pick up my order. She told me it wasn’t ready yet and the kitchen is backed up and that it will be ready in 5 mins (keep in mind I got one sushi roll). I waited 5 mins outside the establishment and came back inside after 5 mins to get my order. She told me again that it was not ready. So I continue to wait because I had already paid for my food. By the time I got my order, I had been waiting for 40 minutes (I got my order at 9:16). During this time, I saw customers come in and out before I ever got my to go order. Pretty sure she had just forgot to put my order in. Really hoping the tip I gave does not go towards her. I think the hostess requires some etiquette training.
I’d like to add the guy with circle glasses working at this time was super sweet and he was the one who brought me out my Togo order! He was super apologetic and kind. I told him he didnt need to apologize, nothing was his fault!

I looked at the menu of this izakaya here. It is written in some Japanese language so I had an expectation of Japanese run izakaya. But Noone speaks Japanese and run by other Asians. I do not have any issues non-japanese making izakaya food as far as they do know how to make authentic. I ordered yakitori and it is 2 stars. Not well made. Kanameshi was made ok to average but no bowl is given with kanameshi. So I need to eat directly from kamameshi pot. And this is not a traditionalJapanese custom. This place is izakaya imitating to be a Japanese izakaya but making different foods. Disappointing experience overall.

All staff are surprisingly Chinese?! (Except the hostess and a busboy) Including the bartenders who do not appear to be professional. No Japanese to be seen at the restaurant.
Food was about average, definitely overpriced. Watch out for the eel dishes - did not deboned very well, had to take care of a few big ones myself or I’d end up at ER. K-pop was streaming loud and nonstop. All of the above was quite disturbing and disappointing to an izakaya experience. (This place is certainly NOT an izakaya)
Won’t go back. Do not recommend.
