My boyfriend and I ate dinner at Salt last night, and I can’t recommend highly enough. Every single item we had was fantastic - the standout for me was the tuna tartare nachos (the tuna MELTED in my mouth) and my boyfriend loved the soy glazed pork belly. The drinks were expertly crafted, and the mains and desserts were phenomenal as well.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a warm, intimate space for a lovely dinner!

I am extremely disappointed with my order. The quality and portion size were completely unacceptable. I ordered the fish, and what I received was a tiny cube that looked nothing like what is shown in all the photos or what other customers received. It appeared as if they may have ran out of fish and tried to pass off a scrap as a full order. This is not acceptable, my drink was water down. This place is not good quality anymore. The picture looks a little bigger but just to give you precise measurement it was inch both ways.
I won’t be going back there are so many others speak easy restaurants in DC that’s great.

Salt is nice - our server was lovely but my cocktail was watered down and the hostess was a little short. I wish the small plates offerings were more robust.
Very cool spot! Great Happy Hour prices. Hostess wasn't great but everyone was good! Great for a date night. Not kids friendly, that's not always a bad thing.
Had a blast sitting at the bar and talking with the incredibly creative and attentive bartenders, Demarre and Oscar. Their menu is rotating and all the bartenders collaborate together to create the drink menu. You can tell they love what they do and are so good at it! Amelia the manager is so professional and provides excellent customer service. I will be back for their winter menu soon!

Salt was a fun night out. The drinks were creative and tasty. The food was delicious. The speakeasy vibe was cool and spot on. I highly recommend this place.
I had a hard time finding Salt, but once I did, everything was wonderful. The food was great, and so was the music. Server was a little distracted or unattentive, but 100% will return for happy hour or meals!
You already know, been here several times over the years and it’s a great spot. Sister speakeasy to Heirloom. Great atmosphere and great food. Almost perfect for a date night. It can be a little loud for a casual convo depending on where you are seated. And you can be a lil too close to a stranger seated nearby depending on where you are seated. Unless that’s your thing and you want to eavesdrop on an awkward first date haha. It’s right on that threshold of being almost too expensive for drinks. I feel like they are definitely pushing the limits on the pricing there. I mean it’s clever, what are you going to do if you are on a date, tell them they shouldn’t order that and get something cheaper lol. Of course not lol. The food is delish so that’s fair. Overall great spot and I have enjoyed all the times I have been here.

Lovely place with great drinks and food and even better service. The Gambas al ajillo, the Tuna tartare and the Glazed pork belly were all very good. But the wagyu burger really takes first place, what a great dish!
The cocktails: Jedi mind tricks, Daddy Issues and Salt Margarita were all great.

Visited during Arlington’s 2025 Restaurant Week and had a great experience. The atmosphere was modern and inviting, and service was quick and attentive.
We tried the tuna tartare nachos, garlic shrimp, and potato gnocchi to start, each dish was flavorful and well executed. The seabass was flaky and perfectly paired with a sweet squash sauce, the tuna entrée was fresh and distinct from the tartare, and the Wagyu burger was juicy, flavorful, and much larger than expected.
Dessert was a strong finish, especially the homemade sorbet, which outshined even the rich chocolate cheesecake and silky panna cotta.
Overall, Salt delivers creative dishes with a polished yet comfortable vibe. Highly

Amazing dinner. Drinks were wonderful! Filet sliders, calamari and burrata bruschetta were delicious as were all of the entrees. Love Salt!!
If I could put a negative star I would. Arrived, no seats at bar. Asked for a small table. Declined and then said I couldn't stand near the bar, so I had to leave. 🤣
The most unfriendly, unhelpful person ever.
