I live across the street from Screwtop and order it for pickup at least twice a week. I know it’s a wine bar but the food is amazing. The main courses all come with soup or salad and it’s very filling. Try the turkey Swiss melt and the tomato bisque, so good.

Screw You Wine Bar is one of our go-to spots in Arlington. They have a great wine selection and the Detox Salad is always fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for a date night or a relaxed evening out. Definitely recommend making a reservation-it’s a popular spot for a reason.

Screwtop has been a favorite for years! Not only is the wine great, but the food is amazing (hello, best nachos in the DMV) and the service is so friendly. Being part of the wine club has also been a blast - it's educational and provides a great community event to look forward to monthly! Linda and the team have done an awesome job keeping Screwtop a key part of the neighborhood and I recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot for drinks, brunch, snacks, lunch or dinner!

Everything was bad from the moment we stepped in starting with the rude and clueless staff. It doesn't take much to be nice and it goes along way. Maybe one day the staff and owner here will learn that.
This place used to be great. Its complete garbage now. Owner just have lost all dignity and pride. Sad and pathetic.

Screwtop — perfect name, because this place screws you over. Showed up with a 6:30 patio reservation, but it rained. Fair enough, that’s life. Walked inside, politely asked a young lady at the bar if we could take two empty bar seats right in front of her. Instead of a simple yes, we were told to sit at the empty tables nearby. So we head over, start to sit, and then another waiter swoops in to interrogate us about reservations — only to tell us we can’t sit there after all. He then suggests the bar… except the two bar seats we were originally told not to sit at were now gone. At this point, no seats left, no courtesy, no effort to help us out. We left.
This place clearly doesn’t care about guests, only about making you feel like an inconvenience. Zero communication between staff, zero professionalism, zero chance I’d ever return. If you want to pay for attitude and disorganization, this is the place for you. Otherwise, spend your money anywhere else — you’ll thank yourself later.
