Absolutely exceptional experience at Sfoglina in Rosslyn! I held my 27th birthday at Sfoglina and it was nothing but an amazing time!
From the moment I walked in, the service was truly top-notch. I was immediately greeted with a glass of champagne, which was such a lovely and welcoming touch. The staff and our server Juan, were incredibly attentive and professional, making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening.
Our original reservation was for 10 people, but we ended up with 13 guests at the time of seating. Staff handled it with ease—quickly accommodating the change without any issue, which we really appreciated. Another highlight was how they even allowed me to decorate my table, making the evening feel extra special and personal. They also allow you to bring your own cake for a small fee!
For dinner I ordered the bolognese pasta, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
Everything about the experience was seamless, polished, and done with care. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for excellent service, great food, and an unforgettable dining experience!

I recently moved to the area and stopped by the restaurant last night with a friend after walking by it a couple of times. The food was better than I expected and our server was nice. We left in a great mood and I would definitely come back :)

The cocktails were really good, especially the Summer Wind, and the carbonara was so authentic not made with cream like you find in many places.

I've went there a few times and had bad service overtime. They were late at bringing food, or the food didn't come at the same time for everyone, or the pasta was overcooked. I'm Italian my expectations is pasta should be al dente. But the service is the worst. This last friday I was trying to give them a last chance. I wasn't going for the pasta but something else. We got a table outside ( which isn't the best place but I had my dog). When we sat we waited about 15min and nobody came to us, so I went inside and asked if there was a server for outside and who ever i spoke to not a server said he was going to get our server. There was only one other table outside and when finally someone came outside they went to the other table( already eating) and he went back inside. We gave up and left. Never again and suggest the place is over rated.

The DC location was 5 stars across the board vs. Rosslyn. Here, the food was cold and service was slow. The main meal for one of the kids never came, despite repeated reminders. It finally arrived as we were finishing up. Won't come back here.

A spectacular overpriced disappointment! I asked for spaghetti and meatballs, and they gave me the choice of gnocchi or some type of wide flat noodles... apparently spaghetti wasn't an option for SPAGHETTI and meatballs! After waiting 1 hour for my non-spaghetti and meatballs, I was served my wide flat noodles with way too much sauce and maybe 3 small meatballs you would expect to get with a microwavable meal. But don't worry, they made up for it by cutting up sausages and some other type of mystery meat. I also ordered a diet coke and asked for a refill that never came. How an Italian restaurant messes up spaghetti and meatballs I will never know.

I was visiting Washington DC and I got the great opportunity to enjoy the delicious cuisine of Sfoglina Rosslyn. Chef Omar is truly amazing!! This is a must-experience restaurant. The pasta is so freshly made and so delicious. I have been there multiple times with family and I even got to enjoy some special dishes during the restaurant week. The dishes are so well balanced and creative. All the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I really cannot emphasize enough how great that place is. I am not used to leaving reviews but this place totally won my heart!

Visited Sfoglina for dinner. Charming place, nice, dimly lit, retro, atmosphere. Great service. We started with Provolone Garlic Bread, followed by Pappardelle (perfectly al dente), Braised Beef Short Rib Agnolotti complimenting it with a side of sautéed spinach. Absolute delicious; we simply could not get enough. Drinks? Campania (Rosato) and Mambo Italiano (why not?). There was room for desert so we ordered Gelato swirl and Italian Macedonia. Absolutely loved both. We’ll be back for sure!

Absolutely one of the most charming places with amazing food and service and Italian vibe! It’s a very rare find in Arlington. But considering that the chef and the owner is Fabio Trabocchi (Fiola, Fiola Mare, Del Man some of his other restaurants ) it explains the quality and style of the place.
Our bartender had such a great personality and she was professional ! We came for a few drinks ( and all of them were exceptional especially with her recommendations! And we are super picky guests 😂) It was such a pleasure a to be there that we ended up with absolutely unreal dish -Braised Beef Short Rib Agnolotti, served with a luscious truffle pesto sauce and Parmigiano. It was consumed before even a chance to take a picture.
