On our recent visit to DC, we enjoyed several visits to Sine’s. It’s always a consistently good place to grab a bite and/or a few drinks. They are probably best known for their fish and chips, but I especially enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip during my last trip.
The waiters and waitresses here are amazing. The Sunday evening manager needs to be removed. He actually brought out his measuring tape because I was sitting outside by the fireplace 5’10” from the table next to us. I was told that the manager likes bringing out his trusty measuring tape and calling the police on his patrons. Yeah, don’t need that. We have been going here every weekend for the last 2 months (new in town) but after this experience, we won’t be back.
I've only ordered delivery due to the plague. I live nearby. I've ordered 3-4 things. The only thing I've really liked is the Shepard's Pie, and I've ordered it twice. I don't know what it's supposed to taste like, but It's a nice, meaty, deep flavor, a comfort food, and meal. A good deal. I like it very much. The rest, like the Reuben Sandwich, not so much -- dry, chewy.
Good service and, unlike too many places in the DMV in the past few years, Sine doesn't skimp! Tasty food, ample portions, and no fake ingredients. Good stuff
Good service, good food, good drinks
Food was below average. In this area there is a lot of competition, I would rate the food as public school lunch food quality. Service was also mediocre. Highly recommend elsewhere.
My husband and I have been here 3 times and each time we’ve left feeling very “meh”. Bangers and mash were dry and cold. Bread was hard. Bread pudding bland and rubbery. Not the best, not the worst.
Kelly is always great to see when we're in town working... missed Leslie again... food was good...
The fish and chips were good. The fish was great with a crisp batter and moist fish inside. The fries were average. It was a disappointment that they were out of some of their standard Irish beers. Service was quick and accurate.
I went one recent sultry evening and sat outside. There was ample wait staff but they were a little disjointed. I seemed to have a main waiter but the others would sometimes also assist and sometimes ignore me. The most egregious was that they delivered my food without having delivered the needed accessories first, despite a 10 to 15 minute period between ordering and delivery. The food, however, was delicious. I followed the waiters lead when I asked should I eat this or that and the answer was the fish and chips. Made good sense as it was an Irish resto. The fish was fresh and ample. The breading light and crispy. The fries well done and perfect. All told, despite the minor misstep in the service, this is a go-to. Food was great. Price was affordable. Will go back.

Nice restaurant to sit outside and enjoy the environment. The service was super fast and the food was delicious. I ordered the shepherds pie and fried pickles.
The staff here are so sweet and attentive. They have great daily deals (not during covid) and a menu with a variety of options.
If you come here for one thing, come for the Fish & Chips. They do it right with the traditional taste of this English dish. They also have a nice amount of tvs and draft beers.
Great brunch for the weekend! The strawberry jam is not over sweet, perfect with the waffle.
I love going here! Very good prices, great food, great beer and wine selection. Siné has adapted well to COVID procedures as well. Very good at keep tables socially distant, everyone working had masks on, fresh paper menu for every new table. Highly recommend!
