I found soulcycle through ClassPass and it was my first workout back since pre-COVID times. I recently hit my 50th ride and finally felt like it was time for a review. Bottom line- soul is an AMAZING workout especially if you love music and keeping to a beat during a workout. I was so scared for my first class and I should have been anything but. The front desk staff, the instructor and the fellow riders are all positive vibes all the way. The studio validates parking which is awesome and has wonderful lockers and bathroom facilities. If you're someone who worries about others "watching" you during a workout I can truly say this is the best class for you as it is a dark room full of other riders focusing on their own bike. I rarely remember what my neighbors look like (if that's something that matters) and you can always start off on the back row if you'd like to watch and follow the full class. Tips:I do recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early to your first class to have plenty of time to get set up on your bike, get your shoes and put your things away in your locker. If it's your first ride they will absolutely walk you though every step!! Big Tip: If you don't love your instructor on the first ride- that is okay! Every instructor has a different vibe and strength (all amazing!!!!) if you're unsure pick a themed ride as your first ride that you love! My favorite instructors are Kallie, Jordan and Sasha (both Sasha's) but everyone is amazing! Biggest tip- most instructors will say this but hear me when I say you DONT HAVE TO FOLLOW EVERY SINGLE MOVE. if you don't want to stand out of the saddle vs sitting, you don't have to. If the crunches or push-ups are too much, no problem. Literally no one cares. It's your ride! Just do it. You'll love it.

I’ve done over 50+ classes at SoulCycle in Austin TX.. came to this one last Friday and 7am and it was so mid. I’ve tried many instructors but the one I got here left me such a bad experience of SoulCycle. I will be in town for 2 months, was excited to have SoulCycle two blocks away but I’m scared to try any SoulCycle gym again that’s not on ATX. I almost wanted to walk out mid class, low energy instructor… her energy was way off, mumbled every thing they said … I wish I would could get my money back but I’ll just have to wait to get back into Texas again. Overall studio was clean and I liked it.. just didn’t get the experience one pays for SoulCycle… shoulda just gone to a low budget gym

I was super excited to do Soul Cycle. I have wanted to do it for years, but always had memberships at other studios. I love cycling and have adored my instructors in the past. I felt like at least this Soul Cycle that I was just a number in a room. There was no personal nature. Then, as a first timer, they offered me a special locker and didn't even have my correct name on it. They had written Vivian instead of Victoria. For how much a class is at Soul Cycle, I would have expected better service. The lockers were easy to use. Most of the crew that I talked to were nice. Bathroom lines were packed and full so I would never be able to use it if I ever wanted to so do not plan to use the facilities or showers here. The instructors were great for those in the front of the room, but anywhere else in the studio there was zero interaction. Overall, I would suggest going somewhere else. I wish it had been a better experience.

Best workout ever!!!!!

Love the instructors and studio staff at CLDN but pleaseee consider 1) being more stringent with allowing late riders into class, as it’s very distracting (esp more than 1 song in) and 2) turning the music down!! This is by far the loudest studio I’ve been to and it‘a a major deterrent for me.

I had to leave early because the music was deafening and the heat was intolerable. My ears are still ringing. Additionally the room is pitch black at times and a combination of all three hazards made me dizzy.

Unfortunately, class has three people and started late despite it being the firstClass on a Sunday.

This was my first cycle class ever, and I had a blast! I loved the hyped up music, although it was a bit difficult to hear the instructor so I managed to just watch what everyone else was doing. The room was almost pitch black when I went in, so I wasn't able to find the number on my bike, but a lady who worked there helped out my friends and I find them and get our bikes adjusted. I felt like the class was lively and energetic, however the instructor seemed to be messing around with the system and the fake candles around the front part of the cycle room - she got off her bike multiple times to re-arrange them, which my friends and I found a bit odd. We wish she had paid more attention to the class rather than the decor (her mind must've been somewhere else that day). My friend said that there is male instructor who she took a class with who had great vibes and would give a brief motivational speech at the end of the class - sounds nice! Despite the instructor, it was a good 45 min class where I was able to zone out and focus on myself. I had a great time!

I want to start off saying, I'm actually sad I'm having to give a bad review. This was not a good workout. I've gone to spinning studios before and I was very disappointed in this one. First, there is no display screen on the bike. Therefore, you cannot track your RPM and speed. Also, without this, the instructor isn't able to guide you throughout the class on what resistance you should be on. We didn't "go up any hills." I'm not a fan of the weird pushing your arms down on the bike handle bars, really takes away from actually cycling. I left the class feeling really let down, especially considering it costs $30 per class. I feel bad for some of the people in there who have bought memberships and probably don't realize this isn't a decent workout. I just would have expected a better class considering the price.

Would love it if Ali Michael could start a class even remotely on time….tired of paying for an entire class and only getting 30-35 minutes because she starts so late. Won’t be taking classes here again
