Stood in line this morning 9/10 08:55, to order breakfast and noticed the worker preparing the heating of the sandwiches using a cooking tong to place the plastic covering from the food that he's about the heat in and over the trash can. First I thought of nothing because getting your hands in the trash, no gloves on and handling food is just disgusting, and he'd have a second set. Figured I'd see a second set, NO! He used the same ones to handle the food! Change my order in midstream and just ordered coffee. Seemed like it was his norm, never even looked up until I stood off on the side and watched it again. He never even looked up, almost like he was quite comfortable and the norm for him. I stood there for a minute after ordering to continue to watch and see if it was a nasty brain fart; he did it again. So i continued standing there rather than moving to the other end of the counter for my coffee. Eventually he looked up at me looking at him.

Apparently, this Starbucks is not pet-friendly, which is surprising given that nearly every other Starbucks I’ve visited has allowed dogs inside. What’s frustrating is the inconsistency in how this location enforces the policy. On multiple occasions, I’ve seen customers with their dogs inside with no issue. However, when I was simply waiting for my to-go order with my small 8lb dog on a leash, I was asked to wait outside. When I pointed out that another dog was also inside at the same time, the concern was dismissed.

The lack of consistency makes the experience frustrating. Either enforce the rule across the board or allow dogs, but don’t pick and choose. At the very least, clear signage would help avoid confusion. Given that this café is in a very dog-friendly neighborhood, where there seem to be more dogs than kids, it would make sense to consider aligning the policy with the community.

Morning always slow service. Last week I had to wait 30 mints to get a cappuccino , they were making wrong drinks, correcting names in between orders making different drinks on request from the side. It was a mess ! I was late to work as well ! I understand it may get busy for them as well in the morning. But they don’t bother, they move extremely slow and make people wait forever ! I started going different location now .

Every time try to come here to give them a benefit of doubt THEY DISAPPOINT. I requested a tall strawberry matcha with extra foam, you think I received that, NO. What they did was upgraded my tall to a grande and said they gave me more. All they did was increase the amount of coconut milk and ice. The creamy foam was lose and it was not extra. They tried to play me like I didn't know. I hate this establishment bc how is it that everyone else can do it right except THIS STARBUCKS. They're lazy -some of them. And they didn’t even try to make it right! And the Asian guy acted like her couldn’t hear anything. Left stuff off my order. I’m just disappointed bc this is the closest one to where I live. But I’ll have to keep going to the other ones.

Starbucks is my casual place. This one specialy the fastest i have ever visited. They're so quick and good quality. I also like the atmosphere there. Outside patio is very nice, also the location is in the heart of the city which is nice.

We are in the middle of a heat wave in the Washington DC area and my partner was in the car struggling with the heat and they refused to give a free water cup even though it was not busy. Then, when I purchased something, they only gave me the smallest size of water. Where did human decency and compassion go? So disappointed.

Extremely rude employees. Employ your policies in a standardized way so customers aren't faced with confusion across stores. Also should recognize locals before being rude. Won't be going to this location again. There are more than plenty of coffee shops in this area.

I asked for a refund and they told me that I couldn’t because I had to first say in the beginning that I wanted lemonade in my drink. BUT I did tell them I wanted it with lemonade. And she was very rude about the situation.

Wild farm

I ordered double hot Americano, and the rude works in the evening poor cold water.
I drove all the way to Roslyn and ended drinking hot americano with cold water. That place I would let go back there especially in the evening they just hate their job

We live nearby and have gotten breakfast or coffee here dozens of times. Never had an issue with my order.
