Okay so let me stop by saying come on really Starbucks. Today I went in this morning to just get my regular single shot of espresso it's like three bucks I usually tip 2 dollars. But anyway before I decide to order I went to use the restroom its morning time. After being in there only a few minutes a very very rude staff member comes knocking aggressively on the door so I come out and I said yes and her name is Maddie she's one of the managers and I'm like yes and she was just like what I'm just forget you were knocking on the door when I went in the bathroom and she was like oh I knock on all the doors and I was just like yeah but I was in the bathroom you saw me going to the bathroom yeah but I was checking on is what she said unless you didn't check you just kind of banged him ran kind of like ding dong ditch she didn't stick around long enough for me to say anything back to you or anything and I felt like I was being profile and disrespected all at the same time I explain to her that I was using the restroom and she told the nice young man who was taking my order to give me a refund but he was like they're already starting to make his espresso so she just turned around ignoring me but I end up paying and leaving I know my pennies don't mean much to Starbucks but this one will never get not a one

Their sweet cream cold brew is one of my favorites. Aside from their regular vanilla capuchino, this cold brew has become my second go-to whenever I order coffee early in the morning. When I came here today, it wasn't so early, but still I completed my ritual none-the-less. I thought about also getting a bitter croissant, but decided just to wait to eat something until later. Most everyone here was waiting for their pick-up order, and they did a good job to move things along. I barely waited five minutes. The only tough thing about this cafe is their lack of parking, and I always have to park illegally temporarily.

Sometimes a bit critical if Starbucks cause they'll all so 'cookie cutter's but this location is fast! At 5am fast is the key metric! I love the new coffee brew machines...Opened up the aperture on all flavors on demand

I seldom give out 5 stars. I'm an old hateful crumudgeon. This Bucks is pretty damn good. Lots of windows, clean, plenty of seating, (but alas no cushioned chairs) charging ports plus free coffee cake samples this morning.
This location consistently makes my drink wrong. At least 2 times a week i have to ask them to fix it . today my drink tasted like water when its a refresher.. Maybe Glebe Rd Starbucks can come and train the staff at Penrose

The baristas here are amazing. I went in and ordered my fairly complicated go-to (pink drink with 3 scoops of matcha, light ice, no berries) and not only did they put in my my order very quickly, the barista taking my order asked how many scoops of matcha I wanted before I could even get that far. Friendly faces, and the first time my favorite drink has ever been made correctly, deserving of every star.

The place is convenient for location, but most of the staff are terrible, they need management that knows how to run a busy spot. They don’t use names on cups, they process most online orders before in store orders so online orders are getting cold while walk in are taking forever! Hasn’t changed in over a year….lots same faces so.

So this is my neighbor starbucks (1 minute from my apartment) and I always find myself driving an extra 10 mins just to go to another location. I’m sorry but until this location gets a new staff I won’t be ordering from here anymore!!!! Never had a good coffee here yuck.
