We took a date night class. It was okay .. I was expecting a little more… like after cooking few chairs where to sit to enjoy the food we cooked. We ate everything standing up. It felt rush and not worth $200.

Chef Marion did a great job teaching us how to make coq au vin. It was a fun experience and everything was delicious. Perfect for a group activity.

Took a French patisserie class with my wife, it was a lot of fun! Came away with a couple dozen of Eclairs and pastries all freshly baked over the couple of hours spent there, along with recipe packets. The class is really well conducted by a knowledgeable and friendly chef instructor, 2.5 hours just flew by! For anyone interested, there is a discount if you book the next class in store than online.

I have been on hold for 35 minutes trying to cancel a cooking class before the deadline on the customer service line. They don't allow any other way. What are these people thinking with such a broken system?

This used to be one of my favorite stores around but the last two times I went, I was severely disappointed. The employees just lean all over the checkout counter and seem annoyed if you ask any questions. There was one nice woman who asked if I needed help. But before that, I went in and asked about a promotion that I had for $25 off any purchase of $100. The guy leaning all over the counter didn't even bother to stand up as I approached. I showed him the receipt with the promo information and he said that promotion is over. I said actually it says it goes until the 10th and today is the 10th. He said in that case the restriction is that most brands opted not to participate. Wow....okay....well thanks for the help! I mean it's clear they are looking for help but training the people they have would benefit their sales. I left without purchasing because it was frustrating to be so dismissed.

Amazing super helpful staff. Jacqueline followed me out to my car and opened the doors to the parking garage for me since I had two heavy packages. She was also super helpful finding me the items I was looking for. A+ service

My great grandson took the kids cooking class and had an amazing time! The kids in the class were cool! The chefs/instructors were great ! During that one week (summer) cooking class, he learned how to prepare sushi, stir fried rice, and more!!! Plus his food was delicious! He bought home the food he prepared snd its was good! Yum! Love this summer cooking camps for little chefs!! It’s a great place! Plenty of parking around the shopping area!
Went there to celebrate my boyfriends birthday, so I wanted to do something a little special, when I call to ask if it was possible, John picked up the phone and he was really nice and helpful, I was able to bring cake and a birthday balloon.Took chefs David class from Portugal and it was really funny, very easy to follow, kept us busy and it was an amazing class and the food was just Delicious!At the end of the class, chef David turn down the lights and walked in with the birthday cake singing !!! He went above and beyond.Really appreciated it.Keep it up Sur La Table !!The staff in the actual store was also very nice and helpful, we got our questions answer and they have great customer service!

Don’t let these people sharpens your knives. It’s worth trekking out to a proper sharpener, they returned my knives in worse shape than they were when I dropped them off.

My girlfriend purchased a pasta kit online that with taxes cost $83. We went to the Arlington VA store and they claimed we could only be refunded $67 despite us showing the receipt and bank statement due to some glitch in their inventory system. We spent about 30 minutes there while they were on the phone with customer service. We opted to send it back via fed ex instead, however after waiting 8 days we still only received $67. Good riddance on principle we will never shop at Sur Le Table again.
