I go here often and find the portions to be good and the food is very good quality. However DO NOT get the salmon. It is a complete rip off. They gave me the smallest piece of salmon for a $16 salad! Will not order it again

I have been coming to these place for years. U can tell they no longer care like before. Many employees suppose to be a good idea,all they do in the afternoons is chat and they will finish their conversation before attending to you. All my deliveries comes with no folk,no nife,no spoon. Today I experienced something nasty,a peice of paper carton left in my food... Tell me how it got it? Coz all the food is in suppose to be reviewed before putting on stand. That's exactly the careless that is coming from the team...seems like siblings or cousins chatting at a family event.

Sweet Leaf is the best salad shop in Ballston and this is why: Service is friendly and quick, food is always good quality. What I particularly appreciate is the consistency of their service - it doesn't matter if you order in person or online, the portions are the same and quality is high, which cannot be said about all the other salad shops in the area who regularly forget something or underfill salad bowls. Also, you can count on SL - I order brunch/lunch sandwiches or salads from this Sweet Leaf shop at least twice a week, if not more often, and in the past year they made a mistake in my order twice. The indoor seating is cozy and they don't play loud music, which I appreciate. Their seasonal outside seating is also very pleasant. I'm really happy to support a business that provides high quality service and cares about customer :)

First of all I ordered and the cashier was annoyed that I couldn’t hear her (maybe turn the music down a bit?) and their attitude wasn’t very welcoming and they were rushing me even though there wasn’t anyone behind me.
Second of all I'm absolutely disgusted because I watched one of the staff go in the restroom w her apron on and leave the bathroom drying her hands w the same apron. I actually lost my appetite and threw away the 13$ salad. Definitely not coming back to this location it’s obvious unsanitary and disgusting.

Get the chimuchurri bowl and salmon bowl. High protein and fresh bright flavors. The staff is always smiling, the service is fast, and the WiFi speeds are great too for remote work.
The service is good but the salads have progressively gotten worse over the past 6 months. There are better options within walking distance (Chopt, Sweetgreen, Cava, and Mezeh to name a few).
Just fabulous flavors. I love the salad I had with, kale, lettuce, apples, quinoa, goat cheese, and balsamic dressing. Also the Avocado and fruit smoothie is delicious and seems really healthy. The chocolate chip cookies are amazing. I really love the food here. I hope Alexandria, West End gets a location! Wait-time is also worth it!!

Please, do not advertise that you have fresh lemonade when you're obviously using, as part of your lemonade making process, other products besides and actual lemon (the fruit). Something that comes packages in plastic is not a lemon.Please use only real lemons to make lemonade if you want to call it 'fresh lemonade.' Otherwise, please be honest with us. So disappointed.
