Amazing tacos! Jesus is so happy and friendly! It seems he finds pure joy in making and serving these excellent tacos. Highly recommend. Bring cash and your appetite and you won't be disappointed. The lengua is so tender, pork is delicious....they are all great!
I grew up in Clearwater, Florida, surrounded by top-notch authentic Mexican food establishments. My next-door neighbors also happened to be from Mexico, & we became family, so I grew up on legit home-made Mexican food. Nobody's tamales will ever compare. Ahh, but I digress. There doesn't seem to be a huge Mexican presence here in the DMV. I have had some decent tacos, but nothing that reminded me of the ones I grew up on. As soon as I saw this taco truck I knew...
In my opinion, these are the best tacos in the area, and made me feel like I was in Southern California. The lengua, mixto, and el pastor are all amazing and come with the perfect accoutrements and both green and red sauce. Also, each time I’ve visited this truck, all of the workers have been so friendly and welcoming. El Chilango is always my first recommendation to people looking for delicious and authentic tacos
