Good sushi spot in Arlington. We stopped in here for a late night dinner. Had really fresh sushi. I got the Salmon Lover and it was really good. A lot of fresh salmon. My wife got the Spicy Miso Ramen which had good flavor, but the chicken in it was fried, which was a little off and soggy. Others in our party got the Titanic and Spicy Tuna rolls and they liked them.

The atmosphere was fine, nothing special, and the service was just ok. I'd prefer Toryumon over this for the ramen for sure. Sushi was similar at both, but maybe a little fresher at Takeshi. Probably won't be disappointed at either.

Amazing!!
First of all the service was incredible, super attentive and polite.
Food was amazing, so fresh, flavor is unmatched. We had donburi bowls and sushi and omg it was incredible. Beef was amazing the raw tuna roles were incredible, and the double shrimp role was so incredibly fresh. Love this place, definitely recommend and we will be back!!

Commented that their Dongpo pork belly was salty and burnt, and the pork feet were too salty, which differs from how most Chinese restaurants usually prepare these dishes. The owner’s response was shockingly rude and offensive. He made a racist remark, saying, “You Taiwanese people can’t get used to northern Chinese food; northern people prefer food on a saltier side.” I am not even Taiwanese to begin with, and it is surprising that he would say something like that, especially given that his restaurant is located in America. He even said, “Don’t order from us next time.” Absolutely arrogant and unacceptable behaviour.

Really kind and genuine service. Food is always spot on. One of our go-to sushi spots!

Takeshi Sushi offers an interesting mix of Japanese and Shandong-style dishes. The dumplings and baozi were actually quite good—fresh and flavorful, a nice surprise on the menu. They fried lotus root was delicious too.

he staff were friendly and welcoming, though the accuracy of the order could be improved. Overall, it’s a decent spot with some tasty items, but there’s room for better attention to detail.

Came here on monday night and there was still plenty of seating for a large group! We ordered a ton of rolls and the Miso ramen. The ramen was just ok. The specialty rolls were our favorites! Good prices but service was kind of slow

The best Pork Belly in the DMV area. Only 18 dollars for a huge portion. So yummy. I will definitely come back to try their sushi and dumplings
