BEST TACOS EVER!

Real Mexican food, real ingredients, real solid experience. The food is unreal with great taste. The service at the bar was wonderful thanks to Brenda. The hibiscus margarita was also excellent. I have nothing but great things to say about this spot!

So flavorful!

I had the chicken tinga tacos and they were packed with flavor—definitely true to the Mexican street taco style. Each order came with a trio of salsas (chipotle, tomatillo, and hot sauce), all with a similar heat level but distinct, delicious flavor profiles. I also tried the homemade chips with red and green salsa and a small side of guac (you can choose mild or spicy)—everything was fresh and tasty.

This isn’t Tex-Mex, so don’t expect sour cream and pico—it’s street food from another region. The atmosphere adds to the experience with Spanish pop, R&B, and reggaeton playing, plus Mexican sodas in glass bottles and a full bar. Highly recommended if you’re into authentic Mexican street food!

Javier is my favorite guy in this neighborhood, give that man a raise!! Love that guy, he’s so much fun to be around. Also makes the best margs, doesn’t hit the same for anyone else. He’s the best

Taqueria Xochi is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the DMV. The taki esquitas and birrias are a must try.

All of the drinks are also spot on.

The small atmosphere coupled with the amazing staff truly make this restaurant stand out.

Hours said open until 9 but they already closed at 8:20 :(

Amazing food and margaritas. It was the perfect spot to eat with coworkers after a long day. Staff was amazing!!!!

So disappointing! The carnitas doesn’t have flavor and so many fatty inedible pieces. I’m sweating the whole time!!
The servers were nice. This is hardly a taqueria.

Great food at a place appropriate price. Seating is ample inside and out. First come, first seated. Pleasant accommodations.

Came in to wait my drive but this place is super cozy. Got myself a classic margarita with happy hour price and it’s a REAL margarita! Bartender was really friendly and kind. Atmosphere here is nice. It’s 4pm right now and this place is already full.

Sat outside and it was lovely. Plus the decor was quirky and fun. The staff were attentive and nice. Definitely would come back again.

Taqueria Xochi is incredible! The food was absolutely amazing—every bite was packed with flavor. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy it all over again, especially once it’s warm enough to hang out in their awesome outdoor space

I ordered the birria tacos and my partner ordered the quesabirria tacos.
We also ordered the margarita with Jamaica all of it was great. I was originally annoyed at the price for 3 tacos being $18 but there was so much meat in the tacos. It was thick. I was full (partially from chips but partially the tacos) that was a first for me in the dc area.
The margarita was great as well.
The icing on the cake was the 3 types of salsa. Even the mild was soooo good. I’m from California with Mexican family so I’m very particular about Mexican food out here. I’d eat here again.
Not good for large groups over 4 people though. Very minimal seating we got lucky as there were 2 seat available at the bar.
