The new security that VHC has put in place is overkill. This is very patient unfriendly. I went in for a procedure on 2/29/2024 and you feel like in a third world country under a war zone. I got there early and went up to the cafeteria. When I went downstairs to pre op check in, I forgot to put my guest id on, and went through harassment with the guards. My sister was admitted Friday for post surgery complications there was no one in radiology to perform a paracentesis drain. She’s been hooked up to an IV for 3 days with no food or water because they did not have the staff to perform the procedure. That's elder abuse.
