Simply put the food here is excellent at Thai Square! Every dish we tried had real depth of flavor without being heavy or overly sweet or salty. One of our favorites was the crispy honey roasted duck with basil… wow! Perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside. The sauce had just the right kick, with the option to make it less or more spicy. Also worth mentioning was the chicken satay… so delicious! I find, all too often, when ordering chicken satay that it’s bland or dried out… Not at Thai Square! It was spot on! Also delicious (and tender) was the grilled flank steak appetizer! I was worried it would be tough, but it wasn’t at all! The Thai Ice Tea was also really well balanced — you can actually taste the tea, not just sugar and cream.
Overall, this place delivers quality, flavor, and care in every plate. And the service was great too! Definitely worth a visit!

Things to do before you die: #1 try the crispy thai basil duck! Sweet, salty, crunchy, and plenty of richness that you only get from duck. I've seen this dish at other restaurants around the world but none of them come close! DO IT!

Wow. This place was so good. Fried duck and Pad Thai were perfect. Fried rice was decent. Definitely would go again - staff was super nice too.

If you’re looking for authentic Thai dishes, this is the place to go! My boyfriend and I love this spot we usually get takeout, but dining in is just as great.

I've been coming here with my family for 25 years. But in the last year I've had bad food that taste awful twice. Like very old gamey meat and old oil. Recently I ordered drunken noodles that burned incredibly. Taste like nothing but very very hot pepper. I'm Lao and we eat VERY Spicy but this was almost inedible it was so spicy. There quality has gone much down hill and I won't be eating here anymore.

Nice, friendly service. The seasonal crab look awesome, but I didn’t try it.
I went with the safe option of padthai, which was alright.
Perhaps I should have been more adventurous. 😆

Cute looking place. Staff was very non personal. I was VERY surprised with how small this $18 order of food was! If this was the dinner price and portion, how small is the lunch portion!?

First time here and parking was okay. You can either pay for parking on the side street or park near a different restaurant.
I ordered the Drunken Noodles with tofu. It was good and had the right level of spiciness. I also ordered the Nom Yen which is a pink drink. A tad too sweet for me, but still good.
Now the service… idk if it was because I was dining alone, but I had to flag down the waitresses multiple times to order and pay. They were not busy when I came in (after the lunch rush). When it came time to pay, I paid via cash on a $24 bill. I placed $40 down and the waitress assumed that I did not need change. I told her I would like my change back. There was no way I would tip $16 on a $24 meal with no service. They did not come and ask me how the food was and if I needed anything else.
Overall, the food is good and decently priced. I honestly will not come back as there are multiple Thai restaurant within the NOVA/DC area, unless a friend really wants to come.

Their dishes are our top favorites, especially drunken noodles and the crispy duck with basil. Squid salads and pad thai are also on point. We've tried a couple times already and recommended our friends as well, all agreed it was good, and the price are also pretty reasonable as well.
The only hiccup you may experience is parking. You can either do street parking if you are lucky, or use the Mrs Chen kitchen's parking lot, or pay for its parking at a nearby lot.

I order sticky rice mango not good! The mango tasted gross and rice was stale. I wouldn’t recommend!

Chances upon this place when traveling to DC on work. Was super hungry and this place came up as a recco near where I was staying. Small hole in the wall that roles out the best Thai I've eaten in a long time. Flavors are intact and so are the use of sauces. Cooked to perfection and served with a small...this place is amazing
