Came to watch a game. Half the TVs are broken and the screens have a deep blue hue. They charge top dollar for mediocre food; $16 for bowling alley level nachos. Took 45 minutes for the waiter to take our order.

Picked up a deck of uno cards and they made my hands smell weird :(

Edit: It's also really hot in here

Was a fun bar to gather with Indiana University (IU) fans to watch the Rose Bowl. Food was surprisingly good - salad with added salmon was delicious, they cooked the salmon perfectly. The pretzel and shishitos were good snacks as well. Flatbread was fine. Normally it sounds like they have board games to play, but this was a different vibe during the IU football watch party.

Had some sandwiches here. I enjoyed the veggie burger with avocados, but the other sandwiches were ok. My main issue with this place was cleanliness. I have a thing against restaurants that serve dirty dishes and dirty glasses. It's disgusting. I will not be returning.

Hosted a social night for work. Great ambiance, excellent food with creative vegetarian options. Our people enjoyed playing games or just socializing. We’d definitely come back.

I was eager to check out The Board Room since I am an avid board game enthusiast. I have been to a number of board game venues in many cities, so I was looking forward to adding The Board Room to the list.

Upon arrival, you're met with a decent sized wall of games. There was no one to greet you and instructions were unclear on how the rental process should be done. Many of the games were missing pieces and even the decks of cards were incomplete.

The music was very loud, so talking was a bit hard. There were also several tv shows playing, but there was no audio coming from them so it didn't really make sense to have them on.

The food was quite decent. Honestly, it was probably the best thing here. But I didn't go there for food, so it was quite disappointing experience overall.

The food portion was really small. I ordered nachos, a chilli bowl, kale salad and wings. Wings were ok but all the other dishes were a lot smaller than what I expected. And no lettuce on nachos. Very little veggies on Nacho. Only some guac, sour cream, some salsa and some jalapeño. Beer was good.
After eating, we grabbed Unos and the cards were so gross. I almost threw up from the stink. We then grabbed a Ticket to Ride and it also smelled bad. It did not have the instructions, so we put it away. I washed my hands in between, because my hands felt so dirty. Bring your own game if you want to play games. The place had large tvs. If you want to come to watch football, this is the spot.

Service was pretty bad, and the atmosphere was really not great for board games, despite the name. Felt more like a regular bar which wasn't ideal.

Everything about this place is very OK except for the manager, who is unnecessarily rude.

Really nice place. Come here with my friends often. Highly recommend it to anyone!

Really great idea, just needs some love. Games were hit or miss on condition.

Drinks were pretty good, and the food tasted good, but our server seemed very confused.

Like this place usually, but not sure about some of their bartenders. Was a little confused when one of the bartenders charged us by the number of games used at $4 each (not hoarding them simultaneously, so it’s a strange concept to do it this way rather than by the hour or a one time charge, if at all ..I mean come on they’re just board/card games after all). Was the first time being charged for using games here, not sure if that was policy or it’s changed, but have been since this experience and wasn’t charged same as every other time. Head scratcher.
