Awesome game cafe. The best I've ever been to because the vibe is immaculate. It's like a bar, with a restaurant and lounge. Indoor and outdoor seating. And very spacious. Also tons of games. Played Uno and Settlers of Catan.

This place has a massive cockroach problem. They’re in the upholstery and crawling around the floors. We moved tables across the bar and there were still cockroaches crawling around. This seems like a massive health safety violation, I would be super careful around their food and drinks as a result

It’s a decent place to hang out with a lot of board games but 15 minutes into my stay here, there were two bugs in my drink. The bartender was nice and replaced my drink, however I didn’t finish it. If they took care of the bug problem it would be a great place.

Food was alright. Neat to have games to play, want a fan of the smell.

We found this place while searching for board game cafes. We were worried the vibe would be too much "bar" and not enough "board games" and unfortunately that rang true for our Saturday night visit. With two private events going on and people there to watch the game, it was impossible to find a table so we sat on some stools in the bar area, which did not provide great space for playing a game.My partner had the paloma which was too sweet for them so they did not end up drinking it. The beers were good (Czech Mate Pilsner and Deuces Wild IPA).The game we squeezed in was Float - brand new and in good condition which was awesome ! The food was decent for bar snacking (mozz sticks and a cheese board), but no plates, glasses, or trash was ever cleared from our area. Other people were even taking used items from their own tables and adding it to our area - frustrating and gross. We saw a bug crawling on the dirty dishes.Overall, the experience was mediocre but I am happy to have such a concept close by and will likely try again on a less chaotic night.

If you want to enjoy yourself the average person will spend around 40. That's a bit much. However, the atmosphere is lovely along with the charismatic staff.

Such a fun spot. Lots of board games (more on the traditional side) and a good drinks selection.

The food is all right. The service was a little slow. I sat at the bar and was the only one at the bar. I waited about five minutes before the bartender asked me what I would like to drink. No menus are given out. To view the menu, you have to scan a QR code.Parking: This is a busy area, and parking is limited to free street parking.

The Board Room is a full service bar that serves cocktails beer and wine and allows you to play board games while you're there. It's a short walk from the Clarendon metro station. If you drive there, there is an underground parking garage that is $4 all weekend. My friends and I sat near a table with Monopoly art. We were fascinated by the number of different monopoly games (including an italian version called Monopoli) they had. Prior to an attending a holiday party, Evan enjoyed Angry Orchard hard ciders, Brandy enjoyed several draft beers including a Blueberry Saison, my fiancé enjoyed several draft beers (including Hungry, Hungry H'IPA (NEIPA), Pass or Play IPA, and Deuces Wild Double IPA), and I enjoyed the Apples to Cider cocktail and a pint of Princess Peach (Berliner Weisse). During the private event, we enjoyed snacking on assorted vegetables (including carrots, celery, and cucumbers) and hummus, assorted cheeses (including French brie and Spanish manchego), cornichons, honey, seasonal preserve, and toast points, and Classic, Veggie, and Margherita flatbreads.

Came for Tuesday trivia, started late, ran late. Trivia was fun though, format was pen and paper and you get graded by switching with the table next to you like in school, lol.I had the salad with salmon which was pretty good. My friends got a burger and a crab cake sandwich which they said was just fine.None of the draft beers we got were very good which was disappointing. Will probably come back for trivia sometime. Overall vibe is chill. Had to scan a QR code for the menu, had to order at the bar.

What’s going on with the bartender with blonde hair????? Their customer service is miserable, it's a shame for the place

I thought I already wrote this review a while ago but I guess I forgot…I’m pretty confused about the rest of the reviews and tbh I’m pretty high maintenance lol. I found the bartender delightful (maybe not bubbly and smiley, but that’s just not his personality. Maybe people are taking offense to that?) The food was good too. The games are a bit of a mess lol but if you’re going to a bar to play games you hopefully aren’t super concerned with a missing piece here and there.

Food was great. Service was comically laughable. Bar was slow and the woman working would much rather gossip with her friend at the end of the bar than help the other two people sitting there with an open tab.
