The fish & chips were crispy and golden and my shepherd’s pie was total comfort food heaven. The drinks were strong and tasty — my Irish coffee was basically dessert in a mug. ☕💅
Service was super sweet, though it got a bit slow when things got busy — but honestly, the atmosphere made up for it. Between the good music, cozy booths, and everyone just genuinely having a good time, it’s hard to complain.

The shepherds pie not as good as I remembered. Wife had corn beef and cabbage that was vert good, but it also costs $24 circa Oct 2025. Very friendly staff and heard love Irish music thursday eve.

A true Arlington institution. The food is consistently phenomenal and the vibes are always a good time. They have live music and their wing special on Wednesday night cannot be beat. Do not let the Arlington County construction outside the restaurant deter you- you would be missing out.

We have loved the Celtic house and enjoyed being there with our kids whenever we’ve visit them in Washington. The staff is incredibly warm and helpful and the food is awesome. You can’t go wrong.

Honestly, my favorite spot in Arlington. What it’s not is nouvelle cuisine. What it is is a step above most places like it. The food is very good and you can tell they have their own unique recipes a put their own twist on things. It’s very consistent. The atmosphere is the best. The owner is Irish along with some of his excellent staff. It’s family friendly but don’t be afraid to get a drink with a couple buddies or co-workers. It’s a place that caters to both. They have live music on some nights and trivia on others. It’s an overall great spot. Good food. Affordable. Comfortable and not pretentious.
