Hotel is conveniently located. Clean and welcoming too. Used gym facilities .
Ate at The Commentary and had the sweetest server, Lydia ! She was very friendly, and helpful, since I was dining alone, I had the chance to watch the room, she knew when and how to approach diners so she was helpful but not intrusive . She suggested she take pictures for a small group and they were thrilled with her kindness….ask for her

I went there for the short rib pizza but it was not on the menu😖 The red blend wine was good. I had to send the first one back because there was lipstick on the rim 🤢. The fries was ok, it had some crispy coating on it (O prefer regular fries. I had a Margherita pizza with arugula, The arugula was extra and they assumed I did not want the basil so they did not give me any. 🙄The broccoli was good!! The beef sliders were good as well! The waitress was nice but she was everywhere and we were waiting and waiting!

This was an OK experience. We ordered some glass of a red blend and received a very nasty glass (besides water stains it had lipstick on it) and an bourbon cocktail (it tasted like a mocktail because it wasn’t a hint of bourbon). We had fries, a pizza, broccolini and 3 sliders. The food was ok, nothing was what we would consider delicious but the broccolini tasted better than everything. The menu lacked options especially because online has an oxtail pizza but we didn’t know they no longer served that because the website hasn’t been updated (big disappointment for a 45 min drive in VA traffic heading towards DC). The wait time to order our food was too long, especially when we saw SEVERAL people walk in AFTER us and were served. Needless to say we were ready to leave. I don’t have to return here, the atmosphere looked nice but it was a blah experience.

I went to The Commentary for their pizza and cocktail making class. When I tell you 10/10 recommend. Solo date, date night, girls night, whatever you want it to be. Shoutout to Rita & the gentleman who helped us make cocktails. I don’t want to misspell his name. It was an amazing time! Very interactive, very helpful. Definitely will be back again.

The Commentary is a great spot for elevated casual dining. The seared scallops were perfectly cooked with a delicate sauce, the short rib sliders were tender and flavorful, and the truffle fries were rich and satisfying. Cocktails were creative and well-balanced, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. The vibe is modern and comfortable, making it a solid choice for a flavorful, laid-back meal.

I was served a raw hamburger. The bar staff was nice enough to discount the tab as a result, which I appreciated. However, they charged the full price on my room receipt.

I've been here a few times now, Pizza class and cocktail class, and the staff is are amazing! Jose and Roy were skilled with the drinks and Rita made the pizza class fun and enjoyable! Plenty of options for toppings on the pizza and the cocktail classes rotate every month and are delicious! Looking for a fun date night or an event with a friend? Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I participated in the pizza and cocktail making class to celebrate our anniversary. Our pizza making instructor was India, and our cocktail instructor was Jose C. Both instructors were helpful, funny, and always maintained an inviting atmosphere. I would say the one person who made our experience unforgettable was Eme. Eme was our server and she was wonderful! She made us feel as if we were at home! If you go to the Commentary and your server is Eme, just know that you’re going to have an amazing night! Thank you Eme for your warmth and hospitality!

Great breakfast spot at the bottom of the Westin. Roy's service and friendly attitude was top shelf.
