I recently discovered this cafe in Arlington and I love it! They made such a great use of the space; it's cozy and decorated so nicely. I LOVE the avocado toast and the coffee is to die for. I've spent a few mornings sipping an iced latte while reading a book outside and it was simply perfect. It was the first place I went to when I got back for spring break. My new favorite! Would highly recommend.

probably the best in arlington… except the iced beverages need to be double shots for the size of the cup that they’re served in

The ambience was cozy! But the drinks (especially with oat/almond milk) were too expensive for the quality. The mocha was served to me in a paper cup even though it wasn’t to-go. While my friend was served her tea in a mug…overall, a disappointment compared to similar cafes in the area.

Love Simona and have been going for a while but really wish they would add caramel syrup to the menu for their drinks, a caramel latte here would be amazing!

This is exactly the place you hope it is. Friendly service, great coffee, and light food options. Perfect vibe with good seating indoors and out.

Coffee is good. Great staff. Spectacular ambiance. The pastries, however, are so mid. The croissants have to be the saddest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.

Wow! What a place. I absolutely loved this coffee shop. I used to live in courthouse (now in Ballston) and the old coffee shop that was in this location prior didn’t look like it was my scene. I saw on a recent walk the spot looked different, and tried it out. I’m so happy I did! The vibes, coffee, ambiance, and all other things were on point. I didn’t order food but the girl next to me got the adult grilled cheese and it smelled and looked so decadent that I will order it on my next visit. I’m really into this cozy spot. It’s really elevating the bar on what a coffee shop should be.

Despite being *all* the way out in Arlington, Simona Café is one of my favorite coffee shops in DC. This adorable little café is a delightful place to work or read, with their chill, ambient music and ample natural lighting. There isn't a ton of seating inside, but they do have a giant patio for the warmer days of the year; the patio is gorgeous, with all the plants and string lights, so it's especially gorgeous in the spring and summer.

The baristas are super friendly and efficient, and the coffee is just incredible. Their beans are delightful, producing a rich, slightly nutty roast with just a hint of acidity. Their wide mugs also make it possible for the baristas to really showcase their outstanding latte art, so that makes the drink feel like an even more special treat. I came in a bit after lunch so didn't get a chance to sample their food menu as much, but the sandwiches and salads all looked fantastic, and the charcuterie board selection all sounded delicious with their wines. I did, however, get to sample from their pastry case; they have all the classics, but the baristas recommendation was to try their lemon lavender scone. It felt like such a taste of spring, with a really prominent and refreshing citrus flavor and a lovely floral fragrance. It was buttery, rich, and perfectly crumbly, but not overwhelmingly so. The scone was a delightful mid-day treat and wasn't overly sweet, so it was the perfect pairing for my latte.

A nice cafe tucked away on a side street between Clarendon and Court House. A pleasant alternative to coffee chains.
