Skylar was an amazing server and made the whole experience! Massive thank you to them for such an unforgettable experience!
Enjoyed the evening at the Melting Pot celebrating a birthday. The food was delicious. Enjoyed the four course for two. My favorite courses were the first and last; the cheese appetizer and the chocolate dessert. The team helped us celebrate the birthday by preparing a happy birthday plate in chocolate. Nice touch.
Lovely dinner to celebrate a birthday cut short by a power outage. The team couldn't have been nicer. We sat in the dark and finished our salads (we already finished the cheese course) and then were charged only the part of the menu we were able to eat. A memorable night!
Our server was great and very personable. The food was excellent as always. We definitely will be back.
I had a bad experience at this restaurant three years ago, but decided to go back, hoping they had been remodeled. It has not. If you live in the northern Virginia area, please go to the restaurant in Reston. Apparently they don't look at what you requested or why you're there celebrating. One of our guest is vegetarian we needed two burners. We only got one so of course the vegetarian just did a couple à la cart menu items and couldn't eat the main dishes. The staff seems all new and very young. Our waitress was good but has only been there a week. Reston parking is free and at Arlington even though they validated we still had to pay in the parking garage. I highly recommend skipping this restaurant and going to the melting pot in Reston if you want a great experience. It's a shame as we live close to the Arlington location. Next time I will drive to Reston again.
The best - we go once a month it's our favorite restaurant the whole family enjoys and loves. The service is top notch and the food delicious
This was a great place to host my son's birthday. The kids loved it and it was just fun all around.
Four members of our family dined at Melting Pot on a weeknight for a family member's birthday. We like the concept of fondue, and the restaurant executed well. The foods and means of cooking were as described. For persons not familiar with fondue, it's a very cool experience. For those who are familiar, the menu and experience as delivered were as expected (neither more nor less). The main downside (beyond their control) was that the restaurant was empty. And given the Arlington location is rather large, the emptiness was conspicuous. The main upside was that the servers were very pleasant and efficient.
Waiter was nice but seemed to have too many larger parties and we were kept without service for longer period of time.
Garrett was a fantastic “chef” (as my nearly 5 year old granddaughter called him). Food was excellent as well. Love the Melting Pot!

Service was bismal. Place needs renovating. Parties of four should def be allowed to have two burners!
The manager and waitstaff were amazingly welcoming and accommodating for our 14-year-old's birthday dinner with four friends, two of whom had allergies. Thank for making our daughter's celebration great!
Our food tasted great. Our service started out fine, but then our server totally went MIA as we ate our entrees. Very weird experience. Another person bussed our table, and then finally we wrangled our server for dessert. Not good service.
It may be time for us to break up with our beloved (MP) after 2 decades. The quality of service, accuracy of order, music, lighting, cleanliness, etc. has plummeted over the years, especially since reopening after pandemic. Perhaps we'll try another location.
Excellent service, amazing food, fun for the whole family. Great way to celebrate birthdays.
