Came here for the first time last night!!! Wanted to hear live music + grab a bite to eat and this was the perfect place for that :) I sat at the bar and I never felt like I was being ignored, the bartenders were attentive ! Food came out in a timely manner and it was YUMMYY!! I had the chicken satay (came with noodles) and tried the chicken quesadilla too, both very good !❤️ The pop rocks were on and they were fun! Definitely knew how to keep a crowd alive (plus the songs they were covering were my 2000's faves haha)

The Renegade is officially my new favorite spot! From the moment we walked in, Patrick and Paul made sure my friend and I were well taken care of—the hospitality was top tier. The food and drinks? Phenomenal. Every bite felt like a trip around the world, and the menu truly reflects that, with flavors from all over.

What’s wild (in the best way) is that the ambiance doesn’t quite match the menu—it’s a rock and roll-themed restaurant, but the variety and depth of the food catches you off guard in the best way. Plus, they had a live band playing, which added even more energy to the night.

Once you hear the story behind the chef/owner and his vision, it all clicks. It’s clear there’s passion, creativity, and intention behind every detail.

Don’t walk—RUN to The Renegade. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself later!

Dropped by the Renegade on a Monday night for the salsa lessons. $10 cover, and the classes kicked off at 8 p.m. For the guys - There were more men than ladies, so be ready to get some solo footwork in. Once the lesson wraps, the DJ takes over and the place transforms in a salsa party. For a Monday there was good energy, good amount of people, fun vibes and good music. Also the service was great. Super friendly bar tenders.

I got hungry while dancing. Ordered the goat in a boat and was so impressed had to try the lamb chops after.

Goat in a boat:
Surprise hit of the night. It was a mini gyro. The goat meat was crispy and cooked perfectly. The tzatziki added a fresh, light touch. Super flavorful and my favorite thing I tried on the menu.

Lamb Chops:
Three lamb chops for around 17.50 is a heck of a deal. They were on the smaller side but still well seasoned. Served over a bed of rice with a minty fattoush - refreshing and satisfying.

Overall I was impressed. For bar food, The Renegade delivers. Definitely coming back to try more off the menu.

Really nice club/bar in Arlington. Easy parking near by and metro stop is too! I have been to many dance nights and band nights here. LGBTQ friendly!

Absolutely loved our night at The Renegade—not at all what I expected. The spot has a great set up for for live music and dancing, but I was particularly blown away by how phenomenal the food is. Paul took the reins and chose our dishes, and every single one was a knockout: Crump’s fried chicken, hummus, mac & cheese, lamb chops—and don’t even get me started on the Peruvian chicken with basmati rice and jalapeño aioli… truly to die for. Paul is not only the best bartender in town, but also incredibly knowledgeable about the entire menu. They offer full-service catering as well, which I’ll definitely keep in mind for a future event—and even the leftovers I brought to work reheated perfectly. Can't wait to go back!

Perfect place for a show or a game! The food is amazing, and we loved the pad thai.

I happened to be at The Renegade two weeks ago. I love country music so I thought it could be a great idea to show my brother this restaurant. We came from Spain and discovered this place! What we didn’t know is that we would meet Paul, who took care of us and “tour us around” their menu and options. The food was delicious and healthy as well! Artichokes, hummus, cauliflower and the chicken were amazing! My brother is vegetarian so they prepared a pad thai for him and he really enjoyed it. After dinner, was time to look everybody dancing on the floor… With the perfect atmosphere! I wish I could post some pictures!! Thank you very much Paul, for treating us so well, you very much surprised us! Will come back 🤩🤩🤩🤩

We recently had our daughter's Bat Mitzvah celebration at The Renegade. It was a pleasure to work with Kattia, Patrick and their team on the menu and details. Our daughter wanted a tropical/Hawaiian theme and they made a delicious menu to go along. Guests actually loved what they ate because it's not your typical catering venue menu and food!
The space is fantastic as the adults and teens can have some separation. The adult cocktail hour and food is mainly upstairs and the teens downstairs in the front area. Then, everyone can come together on the large dance floor.
The Renegade also catered a Friday night dinner at our house and our guests raved and raved about the food, plus the friendly and kind staff.
Don't hesitate to book The Renegade for your next party or event!

It's got a great location – a short walk from Metro plus lots of street and garage parking nearby.

If you're going here for live music, though, the design of the place works against providing quality sound: lots of dead spots and weird attenuatios. Sight lines are also significantly awful
