Rudest and most unprofessional customer service ever. Even when booking the highest priced table, they don’t care to treat you right. You have a better customer service experience buying a gallon of milk at Safeway.Don’t waste your money on this rusty warehouse. The general manager Rosie would be better off working at the DMV with her attitude.
The bartender was great! Quick service and good music. I highly recommended ?
Terrible staff service, they literally took the drink from my face. My first time and last time visit. They treat people like animals.
Since my first 2-visits there in February, I love their music, meeting new people & especially taking batacha lessons from Stephanie and Mercedes. Love that place!
Very fun dancing experience.
The music wasn’t bad.. there weren’t many pros or really good dancers.
I haven’t Been there but plan to visit soon ! I follow Bachata Dancers from Spain, And Argentina!! Also follow Ataca y la Alemana and Alex and Desarey from the USA! See you all soon! Saludos from Texas, USA!
It was October 21st, 2019. My friends and I came to the Salsa Room to celebrate her birthday. We were there from 10:30pm to closing, around 3AM. We sat at a couch near the bathroom and took turns dancing and guarding our purses. When we went to leave, I noticed my purse was not on the couch. My purse had my iPhone XR, license, key fob and debit card inside. I asked all the bartenders if anyone had turned it in; They said no. We were ushered out as it is closing time. Distraught, I involuntarily stay with my friend my car keys are in my purse, which has gone missing. The next day, I use another device to locate my phone on “Find my iPhone”- and it reports that my phone is indeed in the Salsa Room. I check the hours of this club and on three different websites, I find conflicting information- specifically hours of operation. Additionally, there is a dead phone number listed, and another more obscure number that church organization now utilizes. I find the “contact us” on the website; and I draft and send a lengthy email which is replied with a one-line response and no solution. I wait four days until they open, believing in good faith that my phone is safely inside a lost and found basket, and I will be able to retrieve it, as “FindmyiPhone” had reported my device there (before it died on Tuesday evening).

When I arrived at 7:15 PM on Wednesday, no one was even in the building yet. I banged on the door and yelled, “Hello”, until a bouncer arrived and I filled him in on my dilemma. He was immediately cross with me(“it’s not my business, I don’t need to hear about any of this.”) and told me to come back at 9 pm when the manager arrived. I told him I did not live close, and I had been waiting for 4 days already. He told me, “ you’re going to be waiting a long time.” The workers continue to filter in, some after 8 pm. I pester each of them to bring a manager out to me or to let me come into the building to look around. The staff vehemently refused to allow me into the club. Later, the same bouncer calls to me, “good news- the manager is here.” Another 30 minutes goes by. After an hour of waiting, I realize no one is coming out to speak with me about my dilemma. I step inside the stanchions and the rope and sit on the “porch”. Immediately, the cops are called, the doorman is screaming at me, the bouncers are in my face asking me to step over the line. I reply, “please bring me a manager and I will step back over.” I am told, “we are trying to open up a business; I am sure you can understand that.” I reply, that yes, I am a client of said business.” The doorman yells at my direction, “You are not our client!” I reply, “oh, I am not?” Doorman responds, “You have not spent any money with us tonight, so you are not a client.” The second bouncer agrees with him. I continue to get harassed and told that they don’t care about my problems, belittled that “ how could I possibly know that your purse is in there”, and referred to as “Sweetie”. Ninety minutes later, a manager named Rosie finally came out and immediately apologized for the situation with my items, but asked me to not take it out on her guys. I informed her they were beyond rude from the jump. She allowed me to enter while the lights were already off and the Bachata dance lesson was underway. She informed me that there is no lost and found and that their third-party cleaning crew just throws things away. We exchanged contact information and she informed me that she would keep an eye out and told me to “keep checking “findmyiPhone”. It’s been over a week later and nothing has yet surfaced. I left the club, absolutely shocked, and the doorman did a victory dance as I left. He told me to not come back. And I will not come back.
I am new to the dance scene but having moved a block away from this place I had to come and visit, it a block away from my building.

Not much for the salsa scene but this place was fire.
First of all, don't waste your time if you want to dance salsa. They mostly play bachata. They have rude bouncer on the entrance who won't let you bring a thermos with water, will try to touch your things in a bag to see if you're hiding something, instead of waiting for you to show him. They have people at the restrooms, giving you toilet paper. The place is hot (and it was 50F outside), the furniture is old. Nice light show. But will not go again.

They need to stop Calling it the salsas room, cause they play more Bachata than any other genres of music. I usually goes on Friday with my wife and bachata is my favorite Latin music, but I’ll also love to here more salsa, merengue, cumbia etc The place is big enough to dance off those corona and you have nice crowds of people from all walks of life
I had a lot of fun. But let me keep it real, I am glad I read the reviews first though. The bouncers are rude. Make sure you call or ask about the dress code policy, men cannot wear shorts or sneakers, but then inside saw lots of men in sneakers. It cost my husband $15 and I was free before 11pm on a Saturday. The bouncers and a patron were full on arguing in the middle of our transaction. We got in, had a great lesson. It's a bit fast paced and crowded, but the instructor was wonderful and patient. Drinks are around $11 for basic. Only bring cash! I heard about too many card scams. NO Seating Area at all indoors, you have to go on the patio. Hot af in there too. But soooooooo much fun. I learned a few moves in one night. Will return
