The service and ambiance was excellent. The octopus carpaccio was very tender and tasty. I ordered the rockfish, which was very overcooked when it arrived. The staff was apologetic and did remake it properly, but resulted in a delay in my remade entree arriving while my dinner companion ate hers.
The second time there while visiting our daughter, surprisingly we had our same waiter, Bill, who is one of if not the best waiter I've ever had. We dine out pretty regularly . He makes the dining experience super enjoyable. The food and drink were excellent. We will be back with friends and family.
Amazing experience. Foods are really really good. Burger is better than other burger restaurant, but lobster roll maybe too many dressing. Our server Jasmine is very nice. She gave me a cup of hot tea cause I was a little bit headache today. Defiantly will come back for another date night to try some other appetizer.

Never disappoints! Not one unsatisfied customer at the table (kids included). That swordfish dish was amazing to the last bite!
My husband and I decided to try this place for a late night date on a Wednesday evening. We had reservations for 8:45 and were greeted warmly and seated as soon as we walked in. At that point in the evening we had our choice of inside or outside. We chose inside, but outside was nicely set up for warmth with heaters near every table if that's what you prefer.
Our server came over within seconds and offered drinks and went over the menu for us. It's extensive but not overwhelmingly so. We both opted for off-menu drinks--l got a Moscow mule and my husband got a Mezcal Margarita. Both were delicious and our server had no issues accommodating our selections.
As for food: it was late and we were not hungry enough at that point to try the entrees on this particular occasion.
But the appetizers were fantastic and we will definitely be back for entrees in the future. My appetizer: the clam chowder. Delicious. Not a huge portion but a perfect amount in preparation for a full meal there. And perfect for what we going for in this case. The soup was hearty without being heavy and no skimping on the clam. My husband ordered the tartare and said it was equally tasty.
He actually ate it so fast I did not even have a chance to taste it! Given the focus on oysters there, my husband also ordered a half dozen of their most popular oysters.
He happily ate every one and said he could order another round or two if staying longer. I'm not an oyster fan myself but the many other options on the menu mean we will definitely be going back soon.
Great food. Great service. Thanks for an excellent experience!

I gave 1 star because there is one big guy with beard acting very rude.
Went for brunch/lunch on a Sunday and what an utter disappointment.
We were only one of a few tables in the restaurant yet our server was hard to track down and never proactively refilled our waters.
The food was all subpar at best. The calamari came in the smallest quantity ever seen - this isn't fine dining. The entire canister was filled with lettuce with very little squid. Dozen oysters were delivered without oyster forks or even mini spoons in the sauces. Also no explanation on which oysters we were getting. Clam chowder was not chowder consistency - super watery and the crackers are involuntarily already in the soup.
The fish sandwich had an interesting bun but the piece of fish was so thin it was easily over fried. Disappointing.

We had lunch during restaurant week. Food was good although many fried options. Fish sandwich had too much going on. The service was very good and attentive. Nice atmosphere. I would recommend.
The restaurant had become unexpectedly busy and could not seat us for our 7 pm reservation until 7:30. Due to circumstances understand. That said service at the bar while waiting was good. And the food and service for dinner was very good. It is a bit expensive but quality makes it worth a visit.

Every dish we've tried—from the oysters to the sides—is excellent. The highest quality ingredients and seasonings are balanced, hot too heavy.
You wouldn't think a seafood place would have a great burger. But the New England Smash Burger is outstanding!
I've also heard great things about their raw bar. Service was very friendly and it's a good looking place. I'll definitely be back

I thought the food here was very good. Everything tasted like it came from quality ingredients. I only wish there was a seared scallop option, because the only way to get scallops seems to be with the fried platter.
Service was excellent all the way through the meal. The only time I thought it lacked was when we requested the bill. It was very long and I did see the servers just talking in the middle of the dining floor for a while, so that takes away from the experience a bit.
The atmosphere was great. Lighting was a bit dim for mood, sounds were at an acceptable level.
Overall, I’d say I’d go back here and I definitely recommend it.

🦞✨ Lobster roll dreams came true at The Salt Line 😍 Half warm, buttery lobster roll, fresh side salad, and the coziest bowl of soup — all under $40?! Total win. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and so worth it. 10/10 recommend if you’re in the area! 💛
