Exactly what you’d expect from a chill neighborhood watering hole. Decent beer selection, but I can’t speak to the food since I just went there for a few beers with friends. Nice atmosphere and not too loud when there isn’t a game on but that would also be a good reason to go this bar for DC-sports game days.

It is a pub with regulars in a location that arguably doesn't need a pub. On a Friday evening, just a few customers and nearly equal number of staff, who feel comfortable enough that they can abandon the from of house for 15 minutes at a time, downstairs. However, when available, service was attentive, accurate, etc. The beers are fine, and could hardly be otherwise. The food looked fresh and suitable at all tables. Meatballs were three for $11. Large, good taste and texture, robust marinara, some grilled onions and peppers. Almost certainly stock items from the distributor, but not lowest tier. Enough to take the edge off, nothing you will regret. Menu diverse and expansive. Kitchen clean and orderly. Decorations dated and insignificant, but not an issue, either.

We love coming to Thirsty Bernie. We come regularly and have a great experience each time. We come primarily for the amazing people that work here. Emilio, Cesar and Ernesto are the best, they make you feel at home and are very efficient. The food is excellent. A burger, fries and ranch are a typical go to. Happy hour outside on the patio at Thirstys is one of my favorite places to spend time in Arlington.

Geat neighborhood bar! I think the poor reviews are when Thirsty Bernie had a prior owner. Great bar food made directly in their awesome kitchen, smoke their own meats etc. The bartenders are quick and pay attention and are friendly.

A phenomenal burger spot with a multitude of TVs perfect for any game day. The only thing I’ll say is that their menu is a bit pricey, and happy hour sort of just brings everything to a normal price rather than a deal. Other than that the food and beer was great, and the service was fantastic!
