These people are doing god's working selling samosa chaat for $7 in an incredibly high COL market. Small cozy takeout spot with the cheapest prices in the area. This chaat is meal sized, and idk where else anywhere near here you could get this quality food for this price. 6 stars!
We chanced upon Tikka Masala street food on our trip to DC. We chose this establishment for dinner and were a bit disappointed to find that they are a take-out restaurant only. They have a couple spots inside for standing room only eating. However, we were a family of 4 (2 young kids) and it was not practical for us to use the high ledge against the window for eating. Love it! Tasty street food, naan pizza, & bowls. Easy order ahead by phone. Obsessed w/their Chole (spiced chickpeas), Momo (steamed dumplings), & Aloo Tikka (potato fritters)! Mango lassi is refreshing. Not always descriptions on the menu, so it's worth stopping in to ask what's what. I didn't know what a lot was, but now a big fan.
