The food is good, however one waiter was very rude when I asked to change seats. She said no other word, turned her back, went to the other table and slapped the menu on it. Absolutely disrespectful and rude. I regret staying there.

I went here because I thought I’d get to try authentic Thai food but this wasn’t it. I ordered only one thing and the server seemed upset for some reason. Then the actual order (basically just rice and chicken) took over 20 minutes to get. The chicken seemed too much like fast food Then there’s the suggested tip of 18% as the minimum. Fine, I thought I could tap and tip on some screen but nope I had to physically sign somewhere which was awkward and felt like a pressure to tip.
Looked like a nice place in theory but the food could be improved and service faster

We recently dined at Urban Thai cuisine and our experience was excellent. We ordered Chicken satay , Grilled pork neck , Nam Sod Khoa Tod , Pad Thai , Som tum Tart , Mango Sticky rice and Thai Ice Tea .
The food was fantastic overall! They were fresh and satisfying, and the Thai Iced Tea was perfectly sweetened. The Som tum Tart was Authentic standout Yummy and beautifully balanced. Made us missing Thailand 🇹🇭
The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal.
We’ll definitely be back to try more of their offerings! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality Thai dining experience 💖💖

I can’t speak to service and atmosphere though I have every intention of going to Urban Thai in person! The food was absolutely the best Thai I have ever had in the Arlington/alexandria area. I ordered via DoorDash and it was so good!! I can’t wait to go there in person! Thanks, Urban Thai!
This place is a true gem of a find. Located right next to several big-name hotels in Crystal City, the food is very tasty and the service is top-notch! I recommend their seafood soup (Tom Yum Talay), sticky rice, veggie spring rolls, and Thai iced tea. You will not be disappointed, and the food is reasonably priced.

I was craving a good papaya salad. The place I used to go has relocated and changed their menu. I found this little gem of a place to try.
I walked in and I was immediately seated and my order was promptly taken.
I actually got a glass of water in a real glass! Very rare these days!
I ordered my salad and green tea.
They and the water with a lemon were all perfect. The salad came with 3 grilled shrimp.
It was a perfect meal. I felt welcome, taken care of and just overall pleased with this restaurant.
