Came into water bar tonight, honestly it’s thee hidden gem of crystal city, superb atmosphere and vibes, in combination with super friendly/attentive staff, and last but not least taste food = recipe for a great time. Amanda was great, loved her food recommendations and drinks she prepared, Nilo the manager was also super attentive to make sure my experience was exceptional. Will be back.

Food was amazing! Had a tuna poke bowl big enough to feed 3 people. The oysters were flavorful and substantial. The lavender rosemary gimlet was smooth and the staff was very attentive and offered great suggestions.

Went there last night for happy hour with a friend and it was a great experience. Chips & Guac was pretty good, my lavender drink was amazing , salmon sandwich was also delicious. Our waitress Maria was amazing , she took good care of my friend and I. She checked up on us frequently, informed us it was happy hour. The view of this place was also amazing 😍😍

This place is the definition of “great looks, mediocre personality” — amazing ambiance, mid food. I’ve been here a few times, and the verdict hasn’t changed. The setting is gorgeous: water views, birds chirping, the kind of backdrop that makes you feel like you’re in a travel magazine. Service? Pretty good. Nothing to complain about, but nothing I’ll be telling my grandkids about either.
The food, though… sigh. For a place this pretty, I wanted fireworks. What I got was Chinese takeout vibes mixed with KFC chicken energy—savory but uninspired, and served with an upscale price tag. Twice now the water itself tasted a little fishy, and that’s not the kind of “seafood special” I came for.
Final verdict: three stars. It’s like dating someone gorgeous who turns heads, but five minutes into conversation you realize there’s nothing to stay for.
Disappointment. I've been here multiple times in the past, but tonight was different. An hour after arriving and I've finally received my complete order. The bar didn't look too busy with a few empty seats, though the bartenders were actively making several drinks. Twenty minutes after sitting at the bar, finally got a bartender to come by. Another 20 mins for my drink, and 40 minutes for the crab cake sandwich after prompting. Definitely an off night compared to previous visits.
