I have been coming to DC regular for work. Stayed in many hotels around town before I landed at the WhyHotel? True its name why would I stay at hotel again.The moment I walked in it felt like home. A walk in closet allowed me to unpack immediately. I did my laundry in my room the morning I checked out. Nothing like going home with a clean clothes, more family and me for the weekend.Great location. We have not had to walk more than a block to find dozens of good restaurants.But the best part is excellent customer service. Great staff. Great Hospitality.

Don’t stay at the Whyhotel! They make false accusations! They keep your deposit without your knowledge, and the employees aren’t on the same page! One employee told me I will receive my deposit in three business days and the other said they kept it saying I smoked and left a mess! We made sure to clean up before we left and none of the guest that stayed are smokers! PLEASE DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! NOT WORTH THE EXTRA STRESS.

All I could say is wow! Very very elegant hotel and super clean! Staff was extremely friendly and assisted us in no time. They have everything you need. It's like having your own apartment! I am definitely going back for my birthday weekend.

This is an awesome concept. Very spacious reasonable for the price. The building amenities make it feel like you live there and it doesn’t have the stench of an overused hotel room. Helpful, professional and very friendly staff.Highly recommend staying here.

A wonderful experience from booking to check out! Spoke with hotel associate when booking about room selection, his recommendation (508, a beautiful 1 bedroom) was perfect for our overnight visit in Arlington. We were able to get an early check in, and the staff member was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.Room was modern, spacious + immaculate. 5 stars for aesthetics + housekeeping, plus the room even had a washer/dryer!Lovely team member helped us at check out today, and we learned a bit more about the WhyHotel concept, which was welcome + informative.We hope to stay with you again soon, we really enjoyed our visit!

Finding the parking was horrible I did laps around terrable when it's not signed. Rooms are so gorgeous and roomy, no cable. I would stay here again If I had to come back

How to find WhyHotel: Go to the Origin Ballston entrance and take the elevator to the 5th floor, then follow the signs to the check-in!I had a conference in Arlington and booked too late to stay at the conference hotel, so I ended up booking at WhyHotel because it was within walking distance and the price was reasonable. The room was a city apartment dream with beautiful views of the city from floor to ceiling windows, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer that saved me from a laundry crisis. There was a walk in closet that could easily fit my entire wardrobe, a bathroom with both a shower and a tub, and it was shockingly quiet even though both rooms on either side of me were occupied. Staff were great, too, very efficient and friendly. The only drawback was my initial struggle to find the place, which is why I'm putting those directions at the top of my review. 100% would stay again.

My stay here was absolutely fantastic. I wasn't sure I'd like it at first because normally when I vacation I only stay at hotels but this location has made me rethink that. The rooms and building are beautiful, and the staff go out of their way to be helpful. Halfway back home, I realized I left my watch behind and all it took was one phone call and Marwan (I hope I'm spelling that correctly) went down to my room, found my watch and let me know that he will get it shipped out as soon as he can! WhyHotel made this trip a very memorable one!

I stayed with WhyHotel in Arlington this past weekend and the experience from beginning to end was wonderful! The staff during check-in and check-out were so friendly and very helpful. The room we stayed in was pristine and everything was up to date and CLEAN. Not to mention the view from the room was beautiful - sunset, sunrise, downtown Arlington and within walking distance from so many restaurants and cool bars. Even the shampoo and soaps they provided were good quality! I really enjoyed my stay there and would absolutely, without a doubt stay here again.

Aaron, Luke and the rest of the staff are very competent and friendly. The 2 bedroom apartment that my 12 year old son and I stayed in was so much more than I expected. It feels like you're walking into a brand new apartment designed just for you.

This place was an amazing find, located close to restaurants and the metro, but the customer service side once checked in is severely lacking. Rented a 2 bedroom on the 10th floor for 4 nights right before Thanksgiving (Sat - Wed) and the place was nice. Modern through and through, lots of room for the kids to spread out, okay kitchen, nice little balcony. Directions provided beforehand for location, parking, check in process, etc. were top notch. Lacking was any follow-up once check in was completed...and they charge for the full stay at point of check in (just wanted to mention here as I don't remember that anywhere on the website or in the paperwork). When we first arrived, two of our lamps didn't have bulbs and given the fact that there wasn't a lot of lighting in the place beyond the lamps, we needed bulbs. No big whoop. Called down to the main check in area and asked for a couple of bulbs to be delivered. They never were until day 4 of the stay. Okay. Minor hiccup. 1st world problems. On the 2nd day, we tried to use the stove top. Didn't work. Called down again and asked for maintenance to come look at it - oh, and bring a bulb or two. Maintenance dude came, pushed some buttons, nothing happened and he said he'd look into it. Oh - and no bulbs. Day 3, we call again, and this time a supervisor comes and looks and says, "Oh, that's an error code. It's not gonna work." But we finally did get 2 light bulbs. The stove top never worked, which was a bummer, as we specifically rented a place with a kitchen so we could cook a couple of meals together. In the end, the Why refunded our parking charges ($80) to make up for the broken stove, but a little customer service and maintenance would have gone a long way. I travel just about every week for work, and I'm not sure I'd stay here again given the up-front charge and lack of customer service. A+ for the concept, C- for the execution.
