YA HALA BISTRO Restaurant & Hookah Lounge

Owner is a thief. Refuses to pay dishwashers, and hookah guys their last paycheck. Stole the servers tips and refuses to pay tips earned.

This restaurant is not good. I waited for an hour and no one came to take my order.

Untrustworthy business owner, Mohamed Alkadi - refuses to pay several employees their last paycheck - whether they're hourly based or worked for tips.
Also uses derogatory language when addressing certain employees - specifically the "N" word; and is homophobic.

As for the kitchen, it is unsanitary with his wife Farah and him always smoking hookah there, and other workers smoke their cigarettes, and vapes. The downstairs is rat infested with feces near food items.

We ordered chicken shawarma and were very surprised why the meat is on rise pillow. Usually the shawarma need to be served in lavash bread. Also salad was taste awful, very bad experience and expensive!!!

My experience at Ya hala Bestro restaurant was incredibly disappointing. Despite not being very busy, we waited over an hour to get seated with no explanation from the staff. Once we finally got a table, the service was non-existent. Our server took 30 minutes just to greet us and never checked on us again after bringing the hookahs.

The hookahs themselves were poorly prepared - the coals were not properly lit, leading to weak smoke and an unenjoyable session.When I tried to get our server's attention to address it, she never came over. The manager was unhelpful as well, giving us attitude instead of trying to rectify the situation.
