Excellent food, fresh, warm, delicious. Excellent service. One of my favorite restaurants.
Good and service are always amazing here. Highly recommend. We often get the platters (both meat and seafood) and they are plenty for multiple people!

The food was excellent. The atmosphere was noisy. The service was the only big problem. Overpresent, hurried. From the time we sat down we got the impression they were trying to rush us out -and not all the other tables were full.

The food was good as always. Servers were attentive. In fact, they were overly attentive. They stopped by at least every 8-10 minutes to see if we were finished. Tried to take dishes away before everyone at our table was finished eating. We inferred that they were trying to turn the table even though there were at least 4 empty tables in our dining room. We felt rushed - not a good feeling. We were introducing a visitor from out of town to the restaurant. She commented on the 'pushiness' of the wait staff as well. It put a damper on an otherwise good dining experience.
Yayla Bistro is exactly the kind of place you want before a night out. 🌡
The three of us arrived dressed for an evening under the stars, fireplace jazz already on the agenda, and Yayla set the tone perfectly. Cozy, unpretentious, and refreshingly free of influencer theatrics—this is Turkish food that knows what it’s doing and doesn’t need to announce it.
The kebabs were juicy, confidently grilled, and seasoned just right. The mezze was fresh and balanced—the kind that quietly steals the spotlight. Portions were generous (yes, leftovers were packed), prices were fair, and the overall vibe felt relaxed and grounded.
Our server was Kurdish and very reserved—calm, quiet, and professional—which actually fit the atmosphere well. Service was attentive without hovering or forced small talk.
Before heading out, we ended with Turkish coffee—strong, rich, and exactly what we needed to stay alert and in a dancing mood for the night ahead ☕🎶.
A classic DMV moment: we spotted a Mr. Bean / Rowan Atkinson look-alike, realized too late that we forgot to get a photo, and immediately regretted it.💎
Dinner wrapped, leftovers secured, caffeine activated, and we headed straight to Godfrey’s for jazz by the fireplace 🎷🔥—confirming Yayla Bistro as the ideal pre-jazz, pre-night-out stop.
Bottom line: great food, easy vibes, and just enough Turkish coffee to carry you smoothly into the evening. I’ll be back—camera ready. 🇹🇷✨

The atmosphere and food were magnificent. We especially loved the apricot juice and the baklava. Our waiter Ali made our evening unforgettable.

Seven of us gathered for dinner to celebrate our granddaughter's birthday. We shared several appetizers and entrees. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. We were not rushed. Great place for dinner!!!
Love this restaurant! The food is always superb, the atmosphere warm and cozy, the service great. You should commend yourselves on your wonderful staff.
This place is great! We had such an authentic experience. We came for brunch, had the baklava French toast, and the breakfast platter and it was SO good! The Turkish sausage was so tasty and the baklava French toast was absolutely delicious!

Top marks for authenticity and charm. The people and decor are lovely. If you can, catch the dancing ladies in the main room around dinner. The bread is the best - always!
