I was there the last day of restaurant week so it was super busy and got a little loud toward the end of the evening. I eat here fairly often and the food is always amazing and the service is never rushed. Highly recommend.

The staff and service was impeccable. This is hands down the best sushi restaurant I've ever experienced. The seafood is incredibly fresh, and every dish is visually stunning. The creativity behind the sauces truly sets this place apart, and I even heard the chef makes his own soy sauce—which absolutely shows in the depth of flavor. The Japanese uni was beautifully presented, and the tuna was a deep, rich red that melted in my mouth, finished perfectly with a delicate sprinkle of truffle oil. Every bite felt intentional and expertly crafted. I only wish I lived closer—this would easily be my daily go-to restaurant.

Nice ambiance and good service. Not sure why ALL nigiri sushi has truffle wasabi and Black Sea salt on them. That being said the fish was very fresh and tasty. The rice lacked the vinegar sharpness. Probably won't return but that is only because I don't live in the area

We drove 45 mins to enjoy the sushi at Yume. As always, the sushi was the freshest in VA. Cocktails great, and the Nigiri top Notch. While we enjoy sushi closer to home some times, we choose to travel to this spot because this restaurant is always worth the drive and value as it's better than all other spots in the area. Cheers.

Ate here on 12/20 and really enjoyed it. The fish was super fresh, very tasty, and nicely presented. Everything we had was well prepared and consistent, and you could tell quality was a priority. It's the kind of place where the sushi speaks for itself—clean flavors, good cuts, no unnecessary gimmicks. We'll be back in the area with family in April and will very likely return then.

Franz was a great server! He was quick, friendly and gave awesome recommendations. Sitting at the sushi bar was the highlight of our experience! We had great conversations with the chefs and manager. We even were given a few samples to try - delicious! 10/10 experience, we can’t wait to come back!
Straight 5 stars for their excellent foods, best customer service, and outstanding atmosphere. Chef Michael made our foods. He was very talented, passionate, and polite. Sat at the bar helped us to observe how he made our foods. His hands moved slow but smooth. He was very meticulous and patient. He not only made the food delicious but also made it look beautiful. All the staff I met here were polite, friendly, and helpful. My server could describe exactly what each items made from, how they were made, and how they tasted. The restaurant is good for couples and family with kids, too. We will be back. Strongly recommended.
