Casual Japanese spot. My husband and I have been coming here since we were dating. Consistent. Fresh. Clean. Low key. Friendly service.

Absolutely amazing quality food. Service was great. Would literally plan a trip to DC in the future to make sure to come back. We spent around $100 for two people, but there are cheaper options where you could spend ~$20 per person on a budget and it would still be amazing.

Would not go back. Food was dried out. Didn’t bring us our entire meal. When addressed at the end they said we could take it to go. No thanks.

We usually go to Clarendon for sushi, but decided to give this place a try and we’re really glad we did. The yumi spicy tuna roll and the teriyaki were both really good, and the fish tasted fresh. I liked that the teriyaki wasn’t overly salty. It also came with a small house salad and miso soup, which was nice. They were pretty busy, but the service was great. The lady that served us was quick and friendly. We were offered some green tea mochi ice cream to try at the end and they were really good too. They have a nice patio area, so we’ll definitely be back to try more dishes.

Have only gotten sushi, but the sushi is good for the price. Lots of seating for groups.

Fried ice cream tasted very plain. And they gave me one soy sauce packet for a very big bowl of fried rice. Which also wasn’t that flavorful.

I love Yuraku! It’s the best sushi in the DMV. Great service and hospitality every time! :)

The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavors. The sushi was especially amazing, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients

We stopped in for dinner after a long day of sightseeing in DC. We were greeted immediately by a cheerful server and received a friendly wave from the sushi chef.
Our dinner included 2 specialty rolls and an order of the chicken fried rice entree to share. It was truly the best fried rice I’ve ever had. The sushi rolls were fresh and delicious, too. As amazing as the food was, we were equally impressed by the attentiveness and hustle of our sweet server. She had many tables but was totally on top of everything and hustled around with a smile on her face.

Delicious miso soup and cooked roll (this one was a special called snowy roll I believe, basically a dragon roll with crab on top) and nice, quick service.

The food here was good! Service was fine also maybe due to us being the only customers for about 30 minutes. The only problem I had here was at the end. After paying the bill (about $85 btw) I didn’t leave a tip. * A TIP AT THE END IS NEVER MANDATORY UNLESS ITS GRATUITY FOR BIG PARTIES.* The server literally hands back the check asking why there was no tip. I shouldn’t have had to, but I explained to her that the service and food was good but i don’t have extra to tip. She hands it back with an annoyed look on her face and walks off. I ask the other server to come over to make sure we were reading the situation correct and she does the same thing, but gives us tip options instead, basically insisting I leave a tip or they won’t except the bill back. I decline, put a 0 for the tip on the bill and hands it back with a 2 $1 dollar bills. Im a server myself so I know how it is. But As a server you should never expect a tip, people like that don’t make it far for always expecting from others!

Don’t come here for the fish. Ordered sashimi platter and it was not fresh at all. Did not finish as I was worried about diarrhea. Teriyaki was extremely salty too. The sever kept spilling the miso soup. She spilled it the table next to us first on a kid and then spilled again at our table….

The place was mid.
I had the miso ramen. My ramen had just half hard boiled egg which was sad because there is always full soft boiled eggs.
There were no chilli or oils given on the side.
The service was very good and the servers were very nice but it was slow maybe because they’re a little understaffed.
The taste of the food however was good and authentic.
I feel like given the cold weather I had way too much of an expectation which is why the ramen didn’t slap.

Went here for a Saturday lunch and it was surprisingly quiet. We got the sushi udon lunch set, miso soups, and a roll. Everything was great. The udon particularly was very unique and flavorful, and came in a large portion for being part of a set.
