I went to this restaurant for the first time. No expectations before I entered. Ambience was ok. You have to preorder and pay for the foods before it comes to the table. As for the food, we had dosas and briyanis. All the food came out piping hot, fresh and tasted good. As for the spice level, make sure to pick the lower level of spicy - even the medium one was very spicy for us. All in our group enjoyed the food which is the important thing at the end. I finally returned here after they opened up 8 months ago, my second visit. I can't say I was terribly impressed. We did come on a weekday for lunch, so understandably the place wasn't packed. I'm sure it gets packed on weeknights or Friday Saturday nights. The customer service was not that great, the guy behind the counter was mostly just standing there and not interacting much. I recently visited Akshaya Patra Restaurant during their Dosa Night, the atmosphere was warm and inviting with friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed. The attention to detail in both the food and service made the evening special.
