They claim to close at 10 but couldn’t even stay open until 9:30… don’t waste your time driving there, apparently they aren’t trustworthy and reliable and you will drive there for nothing

Found this shop through a google search to pick up a gift on my way to visit some work colleauges and was not disappointed. I'm visiting from Canada and wanted to find a shop with some unique choices and was very happy with the service and recommendations provided! I'm also sad I don't live closer because they had a nice selection of Russian River Valley wines I would have loved to try.

This was our first time there in a while, but as always we enjoyed the experience. The food is great, the cheese plate is always excellent my wife loves the crab cakes and I have enjoyed every flatbread I have had there. It is pricey but fun for an occasional trip.

Amazing, amazing and amazing. Great place good ambience and great services. Good selection of wine and with Patrick as your host gives this place a five star. I wouldHighly recommend and great place in Ashburn. I would drive to this place often.

Frigid temp, supposedly for managing the wine racks. Waited for an hour to get food. Kitchen couldn't handle demand. Received lots of apologies and discount on bill, but could have handled the delays so much better. Disappointing!

Sean and the team are so amazing. Every bottle is superb and they have great selections for every price point. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. I also love their food and it is just such a great atmosphere to sit and sip and eat and chat. Incredible place - highly recommend!!!
Great selection of wine for a small shop. Staff are extremely helpful. The flatbreads and dips are always a favorite if you decide to uncork there.

AWS is a unique experience for wine lovers. It is a wine shop more than it is a restaurant, only a few tables, so it's very intimate. The menu is more about gourmet appetizers than sumptuous meals, with the emphasis on wine pairings. The owner is on site at dinner, and he's very knowledgeable about wines and how they go with which foods. I took my wife there for her birthday because she's a foodie who loves tasting wines, and she was thrilled with the experience!

We went there the first time and we really enjoyed our dinner. The menu is limited but who needs a 10-page menu when everything is good? We had a flight of wines, spinach/artichoke dip and a couple of flat breads. We had a nice relaxing meal and took home the leftovers.
